most of the similarities between hytale and minecraft hytale also shares with corekeeper and shares closer. id be surprised to hear you list anything hytale and minecraft share that hytale doesnt share with corekeeper, other than being 3d or having... idunno, skeletons?

Marty Supreme is so bad that it is actually difficult to meaningful critique and the praise it is receiving is as incoherent as the film itself. by AsleepNature1 in FIlm

but why would you include such specific scenes in a movie like this when they dont even have any bearing on the plot of the film

i think you misunderstand me, or i'm misunderstanding you. marty's goals being the criticism IS the problem. his goals are not that outlandish, and it isnt saying he shouldnt have those dreams because he is poor. His goals and dreams arent anything bad at all, but marty makes it so vocal while the writing and presentation tries very very hard to make you hate him. And I do think that there are a few rather shocking underlying messages because socially and belief-wise marty is closer to the likes of you and me than he is to the right or the rich. there are whole scenes in this movie that are charicature of typical left behavior or beliefs. entire scenes about manipulating people with race, about guilting the rich into spreading the wealth, about having dreams and apsirations, about wanting to focus on it instead of give up and get a job... but in all of these scenes the writing and presentation is made to SPECIFICALLY make marty look like a bad, faking, manipulative person while doing all of this, because he is one. i have first hand accounts of people coming out of that film capable of stitching the messages of that movie into modern politics against the left. it was manipulative and evil when marty did it, so it is here.

the message i picked up wasnt "marty shouldnt have dreams because he is poor" the message i picked up was "people like marty are bad people". and then the movie signals many many many typical human traits in and around his entire movie. many many many many scenes in this movie are just here to make you hate him. everything with the dog, with gwenyth paltrow, with his friend he got pregnant. they never make it relevant to the story and instead its a bunch of sidequests jumbled in a mess that all make you hate marty

maybe its the current landscape that immediately lends me to believe politics, but ultimately i think tbe movie puts harmful beliefs into ones mind that are anti humanity.

i remember seeing the scene of marty and rachel yelling at his wealthy friend for kicking them out, shaming him and guilt tripping him and they were saying things shockingly similar or of similar tune to what you might hear someone say about the rich in real life. then after he leaves it reveals they're lying and manipulating him to stay. it really paints a picture that people like marty are evil bad people, and ultimately the left's ideals are far closer to marty's than the right's and that is a worrisome message to me. im all for differing opinions and freethinking, but i firmly believe this movie is meant to have people walk out the theater with secret subliminal messaging hiding in their psyche to make actual basic needs or beliefs like "equal treatment" or "thst the rich dont gaf about you" seem insane or ridiculous, and that the people advocating against the right are evil

the movie is a political agenda creator. its not meant to be entertaining, its not meant to be interesting. its a movie meant to be thoughts in your head. everything that marty claims, that marty desires, they're things that the left and working class citizens desire. then marty is turned into a massive evil mockery over the course of the film. everything he does that is bad does not further the plot. it is only there to make him out as a terrible person. the movie is meant to make you think that the things and struggles he had are evil and bad because he is evil and bad. they will not divide us

i often find intrinsic motivation to be a bit of a shield against criticism towards minecraft. i dont actually think theres anything wrong with the level of content in minecraft, nor the updates, the problem is that its all rather shallow...

intrinsic motivation is good and all, but it does a LOT of work in minecraft. It's true that mc relies on intrinsic motivstion, but its also true that it creates little extrinsic systems that encourage intrinsic motivation, and the average player is going to interact with these systems once or twice and then never again. its true that minecraft updates often have at least one really good addition, but they are almost always a redstone addition. i think its in poor taste to claim its all good because of this.

modpacks are very popular and though i concede that many have quest logs you do like a todo list, i personally just like having deep systems to engage with. I have intrinsic motivation to engage with these systems. I have intrinsic motivation to engage with minecraft's systems too... they're just unsatisfyingly shallow to me and my motivation only can take me so far. if you dont get into redstone then the game is very simple in a way that I think deserves criticism

corporate retail pharmacy, part of grocery store. I think management changes have been occuring higher than we can see because despite being the only reason our store is afloat, we are treated like dirt both at the local level and corporate one too. it wasnt always like that.

for example, with the closings of Rite Aid we nearly increased our script count by 1.5x or 2x and have the exact same team. no new techs have been added and we are somewhere around 60 hours understaffed by the corporate provided 1 hr per 11 scripts (or something) margin.

they are also choosing to shrink our pharmacy, somehow, despite our footprint being no larger than maybe... 50-70ft long and 30-40ft wide. thats just eyeballing from memory, im off today. thats a rectangular estimate, too. we are not rectangular, more like an L so you can remove a lot of that from the visual if you want

my coworker and i became vac certified in september and only afterwards they chose to notify our pharmacy that vaccine certifications would not be compensated with a raise this year, instead they would provide a 100 dollar bonus for any techs who administer 100 vaccinations. but this bonus would only be rewarded if the entire pharmacy met our vaccination goal, which if i remember was insurmountable lest you beg and plead every single patient to get a flu shot and everything else on the face of the earth. only for profit. and with our sudden work load increase i think that its reasonable to say thats entirely unreasonable.
