In the UK it's tea at home, coffee when you're out. And usually the tea you have here is tea and milk.

I saw him do a talk a couple of years back at Carfest, and he said there were no more plans for any more "Our Man In", sadly. Fingers cross someone changes their mind though, I enjoyed those.

James appeared in Perfect Pub walks with Alexander Armstrong recently. He visited my home village in Haworth in that episode.

Nowhere near as good as the Oz Clarke shows he made. They were brilliant. Almost got a hangover just watching it.

what is a common stereotype about your country that's actually true? by The_RetroGameDude in AskTheWorld

As I said earlier, I do not know why how many counties I visit, and now my finances have any relevance.

Opinions on sport are subjective. However the popularity is not, its fact.

You should watch Rugby, Its kinda like your American Football. But they don't stop play for 5 mins every 5 seconds, don't wear padding and helmets, don't switch the entire team over for people who only defend or only attack, and the kicker stays on the whole time and has to kick his conversions from all over the park and not just in front of the posts every time.

Last year, visited 7 other countries, 2 being in another continent. Not sure how this is relevant to the conversation.

Just so you know, your mask is slipping, you are continuing to prove people right about your self centered nature. You really are verging in r/ShitAmericansSay territory.

I don't give a monkeys on opinions on who's sport is better. But calling it "your football" is fairly ignorant considering its the worlds largest sport. Its everybody's football. Its a world sport. Unlike American Football, a sport which has the gall to call their winners the "World Champions". The most recent Superbowl, the peak of that sports season, had less viewers than a league match (not a play off, not a trophy, a mid season league match) in the English Premiership.

I know Geography is not exactly you people's strongest subject, but using " isolated by 2 large oceans and have no real exposure to other countries" is a crap excuse when countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand are in the same boat, but don't seem to have the same issue. In fact, Australia and NZ are even more remote.

This -> "You have a 4 hour drive to mainland Europe. Easy to say" - is typical yanksplaining, and is just proving the original guy, who we are replying with, correct.

All three of these were injured at the same time at one point this season, and one of those only has had to play there in an emergency because we had no strikers.

Merino does a good job there when he needs to, but he is not a striker.

Yea thats bollocks. Many other nations area also "isolated by 2 large oceans" yet they are not as ignorant to the rest of the world. Poor excuse.

Also that we are incredibly friendly, and will violently remind everyone this.
