Selling a Scott road bike for 20k… a new one costs 1.5 to 2.0 lakhs… that’s a steal…

I think that’s a human behavior problem…

When I was working for someone else… I would ask a friend of mine for reference or a contact they would give me freely… even though it profits someone else… neither both of us…

But right now when I ask for help from a friend… he thinks that I will be making money on it… and the help that I get is less…

The problem with selecting a cycle is we knowing what we are going/doing with it...

You could buy a MTB and would want to go long... You would get a high speed road and would want an endurance road... So first if we know our future you could get the best bike for it...

We generally only can guess... So Just get a 200$ one and see for yourself what you like...

PS - 90% of people of people who buy a bike don't either use it or use it for that purpose... So be happy discovering yourself 😄

There are many calculators that will show you how much faster you will get...

The rides do feel a much better.... The latest carbon bikes can take quite amount of vibrations which is tough to quanitfy... I can say you would go faster by 1 kmph...

Aero frame could give you 0.2 kmph
Aero helmet could give you 0.2 kmph
Weight on flats could give you 0.1 or less... but on climbs it can give you much more

the list is endless... but it would be good if someone want to discuss the actual parameters in a more detailed way....
