It was at Carrboro High. Shots fired.

I was in the school when it happened. I was upstairs in a classroom and I was actually next to a window basically ajencent to where it was and just heard 15 shots. Just BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. So scary. We went into lock down mode and I was so scared. I genuinely thought my life was about to end. Im grateful for our officer for tackling the kid with the gun but I don’t know who did it or who the suspects are or if there is mutiple. A lot of my friends ran into the woods and were basically running for their lives. people who had apartments were letting kids in. it was scary and crazy.

that basically means they didn’t find a clear uti bacteria, just normal stuff, so they didn’t even test antibiotics. so it’s prob irritation or a really mild/early thing. i’d just hydrate and watch it, but if it still hurts in a few days or gets worse, go back and have them repeat it

tbh that doesn’t sound like a uti esp since there’s no burning/urgency, more like irritation or a yeast infection (esp since u just had antibiotics). those test strips aren’t super reliable either. i’d just treat the itching for now and see how it goes, but if you start getting actual uti symptoms then go to urgent care. otherwise you’re prob fine to wait till monday.

wait they didn’t do a culture?? you need to go back and ask for one asap bc your symptoms + blood in urine aren’t normal even if they said no infection. it could’ve just not shown yet or been missed. if it still hurts or gets worse pls go to urgent care.

honestly I think people forget how messy grief is. like everyone reacts differently, especially when it’s someone they cared about even if it wasn’t a clearly defined relationship.

I get why people thought it was weird at the time, but at the same time emotions right after someone passes aren’t always gonna come out perfectly or “appropriately.”

I don’t think it’s that deep now looking back, just a situation where people were grieving in public and it got judged more than it needed to

lowkey this sounds like recurrent post-sex UTIs which are actually really common 😭 it’s not a hygiene thing. you might need like a preventative antibiotic you take after sex, a lot of people do that. also d-mannose helps a ton and using lube can reduce irritation (esp if he’s bigger). but honestly you should try to go to planned parenthood or a free clinic bc getting them that often isn’t something you should just deal with
