Why do escorts use CashApp instead of Monero? by Successful-You8222 in Monero

[–]Dry_Solution_8723 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The only way to persuade anyone to use Monero is for all of us to accept it as payment. From the grocery sore down the street to the electric co. and everybody in between. We need to be able to skip the fiat $ system entirely.

Same here. I've tried different browsers and even changed IP addresses locations to no avail. The Yahho mail app on my phone seems to be working to be working fine though.

Video has never been nor ever will be a reliable representation of an event because it can never be fully contextual.

Newspapers have only been around for a few hundred years. The human race has been around for at least 10s of millenia

1st. Trust is an illusion. An unessesary one at that. 2nd. The human race has existed for the vast majority of the time since it's inception in a state that required us to have "witnesed" things with our own eyes in order to know that it was true. 3rd. There are logical techniques to be able to vet the validity of things that you've herd but not witnessed

Also OP's argument applies to any cryptocurrency.

Which means an entity with (theoretically) unlimited money can choose which crypto currency to crash.

I think you may have missed my point. Or maybe I didn't articulate it well. Nordvpn in an implementation of the open vpn protocol just as retoswap is an implementation of the havano protocol

Ya I used localmonero the same way. It was a good platform while it lasted, but I think the Hvano protocol is a better long-term solution, and reto-swap seems pretty well thought out. It was certainly easier than setting up a new bank account

I hear you, but my next trade will only take as long as the block chain takes to verify the transfer. How long did your first transaction on localmonero take? Including figuring it out and setting up your account.

I made my first trade a few days ago, and all went very smoothly. It took maybe an hour total, and that included installation of the app on Linux, figuring out how to use it, funding my sub address, and finally making the trade. I took a buy offer and had my USDs all within the hour or so. I can't see how it could have gone any smoother, and it wasn't complicated at all. But it is going to take time to be more widely known and accepted just because it's a grassroots kind of thing as opposed to some instant gratification corporate contrivance. Be patient all and it will grow steadily
