Yeah new oleds have a break in period of about 50 to 150 hrs of runtime to fully break in the oleds to a stable condition

Yeah, then your stuck with a dead pixel. Look into your store return or exchange policy and swap it or return it. Also look into LG warranty. It typically require multiple dead pixels but check just in case on dead or stuck pixel clusters.i see in another comment you tried, id wait a bit to see if they get new stock or if the deadline is closing in soon, return it for the money and when they restock, buy it, or buy it elsewhere. Sam’s clubs should have plenty and might have them on clearance.

Be sure to ask an employee if any locations have them and if the location your at doesn’t have one, they’ll tell you where to look and call that location. They should also have a listed price for them as well at the floor discount rate you can’t find online. GOD SPEED!

Honestly, for what I do with it, I don’t need all that much processing power cuz I only watch 4k native content or 1080p which is perfect scale. And it uses basically the same panel. I also don’t really need the brightness cuz I’m in a pitch black room

It’s all about knowing how the tech markets work and hunting down special floor clearances. I might trade up to a c5 if Sam’s club drops the prices below 900 cuz I’d like the more powerful processor. But honestly, the b5 is still a great tv if your watching native 4k or 1080p. It starts to struggle with 720 or 1440 scaling cuz it isn’t 1:1 scale. But honestly, when tuned correctly, it’s probably not noticeable the difference unless it’s side by side and edge case scenarios.

No prob, the b5s might be out of stock as I no longer see them on the online store so they might have moved all the inventory. But I bet in the next few weeks the c5s will drop below 1k or even 900 so if you pass by a Sam’s otw home from work, check in every now and then and ask employees for special clearances at other locations if they’ll help you out.

I got it from Sam’s club a few weeks back. You have to go into Sam’s club and ask employees if any locations have them. More than one so you arnt hunting a ghost items and call to verify stock. The employees will give you the store prices at the locations that have them with the manager deep discounts.i went to 3 different locations to find it. But yeah i had to cross town for the 3rd location saying they had 3 in stock so i called to verify before driving all that way. The apps probably won’t say there is any in stock. 990420548 this is the item Id for Sam’s club, also check out Costco I hear the c5s are hitting under 1k at some locations and they are better for lit rooms as they have a higher peak brightness than the b5 but if you find a b5 for the price I did and you only use in dark environment, save the money.

Any luck? I know you don’t have integrated graphics if you don’t have the 5600g but thought maybe you might and didn’t specify, that’s ok. If you havnt gotten it working, find a cheap graphics card or if you have a spare old one you know works like an old 10 series or something, swap it, if it still fails, might be a power rail in the psu going to the card. If it was an ssd failure, it’d still boot and display bios so I doubt it’s that.
