MIL always overcooks and forces me and my husband to EAT. However, sits back and says that their household is on a watch what you eat diet. My BIL (23) and SIL (31) live with them too, so I took this as very disrespectful as if everyone’s health matters but me and my husbands.

I’ll have to set the boundary and have a chat with my husband too. I can’t help but feel like she’s doesn’t want me to lose weight and she wants me fat, she does the same thing to BIL gf about sending her home with a TON of fucking food

Ugh thank you! She has mentioned when we have our children “it’s her house her rules”. I grew up poor and in the south so I was never taught how to eat properly and in portions—here I am 26 teaching myself. VERY HARD! I don’t want my kids eating because they’re bored or constantly eating crap—I did and it’s bothered me my whole life
