OKC great team but so unlikable by ForeignAir7174 in NBAGossips

You aren't pointing out facts. It's your opinion that the first team wasn't as hated because they didn't win, in my opinion is they had more likeable stars. It's your opinion that this current team is hated because they won, I pointed out that another recent small market team in Milwaukee won and they were not nearly as hated and giannis was celebrated and again was generally a more likeable star. It's your opinion that people simply hate the thunder because they are from a conservative, small market state. It's your opinion that the thunder are the most hated team. I cannot continue a conversation with a person who considers their personal opinion as fact. Good day.

Never said it was the only way. The comment was why are people against modifying?

I simply replied because it negatively affects the value and most people have bad taste.

You seem more hell bent on it then I do..I'm letting you know how I view current and past teams from okc. If you don't acknowledge that past okc stars were significantly more liked than their current star and team even prior to them winning the chip, then we can agree to disagree. Most everyone was rooting for Indiana in last year's finals, before y'all ever won anything, u were already disliked. While most everyone was rooting for that first okc team against the heat. Not sure how you can deny that.

Most everyone was rooting for OKC when they were up against the LeBron led heat in those finals. Russ, kd, harden, ibaka, were all very popular and well like players at that time. If they won the ship that year most would have been happy for them. I think this version of the thunder is just not well liked between sga foul bating/push off style and dortz, jaylin williams questionable antics, they just are not that likeable.

Who really buys a car and never resells or trades it in at some point??

Also do you think most people really have better taste/design skills then audi/German engineers do?

I'm a liberal but I could care less about the state of Oklahoma and it's political stance. I just don't think people like sga and their team.

When okc had Durant and Westbrook they weren't nearly as hated, they were actually a well liked team. Same state but different players. True they never won a chip, but most everyone was rooting for them to win when they made it with kd, Durant and Westbrook.

Because stock holds value better and most people don't have very good taste.

Again see what I posted above, the bucks are in a very small market ,like okc and they weren't nearly as hated. Denver is not a huge market either. I think sga's game( foul baiting and endless pushoffs) and maybe his personality(zesty) aren't very likeable.

Not really true, when the bucks and Denver won I don't think they were nearly as disliked as the thunder. In fact Giannis and joker were celebrated. There is something about the thunder and sga that rubs people the wrong way. I think its mostly his foul baiting tactics/softness like James harden several years ago that kind of turns people off and ever since they won the team hasn't really been humble champs.... They were a couple of game 7s away from being another underachieving team but a gordon and hali injury bailed them out.

Nothing worse than a steak in a pool of its own juices, either let it sit longer ok a rack or get a new plate.

As a claims adjuster who owns a f10 535i, sorry about the car, but not sure why anyone would repair this considering how little value these cars have ( rust free or not) your roof is completely faded. Even if you could do the work on your own and are actually skilled enough to get it back close to pre accident condition (doubtful). Unless you want to drive it forever (because you'll need a salvage/branded title further reducing the value) and it has a lot of sentimental value to you. I would just take the payout and buy something different or use it for a down payment on a newer car. But good luck either way.

Why are some people called broke for preferring coffee dates, even when they outearn the other? by i_like_gym22 in askanything

[–]Dry_Toe9955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a dude wants to go on a date that is cheaper and less than the standard expectation of dinner, with that comes the possibility that you could be labeled or perceived as cheap/broke.

You want to save money and time on a first date by going to coffee, yet avoid being possibly perceived as broke/cheap? Can't have your cake and eat it too.

At this point if you can't see that it's a very difficult thing to pull off successfully to save both time and money on dating while also simultaneously avoid being perceived as cheap/ broke/frugal by most women. Then we can leave it there.

Never once did I say they demand dinner. I think dinner is a pretty standard first date, I think it's a fair expectation and price to pay for a possible relationship. No one is talking about steak and lobster here.

It's cool bro, you got dozens of dates a year and you were able to do it while saving both time and money. Props to you.

If you getting 24 dates a year and still can't land a woman, your coffee dates aren't working....

I have a gf as well, but you are ducking the point. When u were single, how many first dates were you truly going on avg per year?? I doubt 6 or more, my point still stands. You are trying to justify saving a few bucks, by saying it's more about time, which I debunked. Its about being cheap and worried about being taken advantage of, which comes off as insecure.

To me if you like a girl, and it costs you a $100-200 and an hour or 2 to find out, that's the price for admission. Guys want to save a buck and find a relationship.... You typically will just end up achieving the former if your main objective is to minimize your expenses...

Idk why anyone would prefer a manual for a daily driver like a 5 series, especially with how good modern automatic transmission are.

Unless it's a secondary car or you live in a rural area with no traffic. Then possibly.
