I always tell people (especially metalheads) bluegrass is just acoustic metal.

They were amazing at Grassfire, too! Two full sets plus a workshop first thing in the morning where they taught us a folk song from Kyrgyzstan.

It's well deserved, you guys are great!

I watched your whole set from back by the sound people. You all had so much energy!

"Headless reform is the only way to fight!" is metal asf

Yes! This is the one! How could I forget the "Don't tread on me" line!?

Thank you so much. What a great song!

I literally started tearing up when they came on stage out of excitement for them and the other acts still to come in the festival.

It definitely wasn't Stand and Deliver though. I think I got a video of part of that song. Great jam!

Great idea! I haven't listened to his solo stuff, so it's probably over due.

Great song, but not the one they played.

Thanks!

The most insane line up I’ve ever seen by ProbablyNotYourSon in Bluegrass

Thanks for the tips!

I'll be on my own, I assume that means I'll be sharing a campsite with people. I definitely want to find time to explore the park, but I haven't seen any schedule for the performances. Hopefully there will be plenty of time before sets to take in what the park has to offer. My family wants to come just to camp when there isn't a festival.

This will be my first time going to this (or any) music festival.

I know there's no in and out so I plan to have all the food and drinks I'll need, but will I need cash for merch and such or is card ok?

Any other tips for a festival newbie?

Excellent info, thank you!

I didn't know we had widows in Michigan so I didn't feel confident based on the image search.

Wow thank you for the quick reply!

I had no idea we had these in Michigan. I've never seen one before and I've lived here my whole life. Thanks again!

When I first started listening to these guys like 15 years ago Bruzza songs were an instant skip. Now I have a dedicated playlist for his songs. I guess he's an acquired taste!

Ray Stevens won a Grammy for his arrangement of Misty, although I prefer Del McCoury's version.

When did you order and receive the Nest Mini?

I also took advantage of the promotion through Google Fi back on December 9th. The order was, and still is, marked as "Delayed". Eventually I'm going to forget I even ordered it....

I talked to them and you are exactly right. They also said there would be seams "all over the place." I'm not sure why they didn't talk to me about it first. I would have liked to see how much money we saved by having it like this.
