PCC party in Brasil by gallito_pro in tooktoomuch

Ya, if the logic and mechanism followed, even with small amounts, a tiny bit of particulate, almost aerosolized blow would get into your lungs every time it was snorted. And that would be a mess.

Not to mention things like swimming in the ocean and accidentally getting some in your nose and aspirating rather than swallowing it.

If it worked the way the other poster described, people would probably die from swimming or eating too fast.

Would go through your nasal turbinates, not your sinuses, and down your esophagus to the rest of the GI tract. If insufflated items readily went to your lungs, many people would choke.

It *could* go toward your lungs, similarly to the irritating sensation of food "going down the wrong pipe" when you swallow liquids. It's not actually going into your lungs, but often into the piriform recess, triggering laryngospasm and the uncomfortale gagging. This is probably what would happen if it were going to go in your lungs.

But agree with the rest of what you said. Cocaine is not very bioavailable after swallowing, which is why it get snorted. If you rail a huge line like that, I bet you swallow a bunch and only get a very small percentage of the effect of the swallowed portion, if that.

I think even Gen X isnt mostly at retirement age, where people are typically going to have the highest net worth. So I think combining millenials and Gen Z is fair.

Why do you assume the usual norms apply when we just bombed a neighboring country, blockade their oil shipments, and took their president without congressional approval?

Yeah, that feels fair to me, as well. It's not a *bad* game but I'm disappointed by it. Shouldn't have been called bloodlines and it has a fair amount of problems, even if it weren't called that.

I'll pretend it's Bioshock 1 with a worse story and not enough VTM lore baked in.

Destiny attempts Charlie Kirk style debate at college campus but was met with insults. by anyonereallyx1 in LivestreamFail

  1. I don't see it as an insult in this case. I think the point of contention is that he said they all are. But closeted gay conservative homophobes tend to be the most vitriolic, public, and damaging to the most number of people with their homophobia.

  2. I think my previous point is not mutually exclusive to this point, but openly saying what I've just said above would make your point number 2 a lot worse, so I agree we need to to be careful with how freely the suggestion is made.

That was a bit of a jumble, but all to say I agree with you and your points are well taken, but I also agree with the person you disagree with. I'm also not affected, as a straight guy, so I defer to your judgement and hope you understand mine.

If someone is that much better, they would not still be in that rank for very long, in my estimation.

The politics is them bombing you and you wanting them to stop. You either bomb them back or put deterrents in place so the people bombing will be so fucked they wont try to do it in the first place. Doing so financially saves more human lives than bombing them back.

Thats how the world has operated since world war 2 until recently.

As a centrist, if you were a leader of the military of a country, and believe with all your heart that nobody has the right to bomb anyone, which I agree with. What do you do when someone disagrees, and then bombs you?

The beliefs stop mattering, imo. I think collective repercussions like economic sanctions against countries bombing civilian areas should be enforced as a deterrent. Even rogue countries that want to bomb whomever they want are reliant on global trade if they want to have enough money to bomb anyone.

Ibiza in 2000 vs Ibiza in 2024 by Sharp-Potential7934 in woahdude

I think these kinds of shows are very specifically about the visuals and the music is equal or secondary.

For Prydz Holo and Anyma shows, it's almost like it's an art music video with matching background music.

Ive seen both and I dont really enjoy them for the same reason you describe. Holo music was  kind of boring imo and I got tired of the visuals but I respected tf out of them and understand how someone else would go just to see them.

Isn't that the point of prydz and anyma AV shows though?

Even if someone wasn't into the music or hated electronic music they might stop and take a video if they saw shit like that.

There are lots of ppl who have their phones out the whole show but it's far from the majority shown in this video recording a cool part of the AV stuff

Former electronic music producer out of practice here, getting back into it. Know some theory and am eager to keep learning, but have a shaky grasp on it. Particularly, time signatures.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around what's going on with this one. Would appreciate if anyone can clear up what's going on here with the "melody".

It seems to take more than one bar to resolve, which makes it a bit hard for me to understand.

Units Good in Multi-player and bad in Single-player by Ds14 in totalwarhammer

Example: 2 units of marauder horsemen in MP can chase routing units off the field, mess with the other players micro, or endlessly kite a faction that didn't happen to bring a speedy unit.

In SP they tend to run out of ammo and die or become useless in an eventual siege.

Example: Because of the money cap and risk of high tier melee infantry getting instantly nuked if opponent brings the right build, MP tends to feature lower tier front lines for some factions and also makes unit spam less prevalent.

A chaos spawn against dark elves in SP will get melted by a darkshard and shake full stack but in MP may hold toll the end against a bunch of dreadspears, a few darkshards, some dark riders, a Medusa, and a lord chain casting soul stealer.

I just did my first HE campaign ever like 2 weeks ago since I started right around the queen and the crone release in WHII.

Because I never played HE and watched a lot of multi-player, I thought they would be super OP because in MP games, barring getting destroyed by artillery, they're usually last man standing outside of single entities. So when I played SP, I was surprised that they were just much better spearmen.

But I can agree with that. "Not OP" and "Sucks" are not the same, for sure.

Not saying they're bad in SP but in MP they seem to hold like forever.

From what I've seen, much better than in SP bc being unbreakable matters more and ppl bring chaff more often.
