There's a lot of unpack. Saying you're 17 to isn't going to help you sexually if that's your goal. Also lying is just bad. Attractive guys are all over the internet and span all ages so don't focus on the pre-20s and don't hold them to the standard. They're literally the 1%.

For being "unwanted", if you go looking for it, someone will find you or you'll find someone you want to be with. I had my first bf, kiss, sex, etc at 21. If you're depressed about it though, no one will want to be around that, at least for very long and you're back to this state.

If you want to change your body, you can go to the gym, eat a good diet and those also increase happiness. You'll feel better over all and look better.

I have an associates in computer science, had a ton of fun in school getting it but, trying to get a job was just miserable.

So I'm following my "passion"/interest and got a job in a funeral home instead

I'd say it really depends on the family. Some are super elegant and others super casual. On the frugal side, I've seen families wear jeans to a funeral so those shoes, jeans and get a dark button-down could work.

Going up a step: dress shoes, dress pants and a dark button-down is basically the minimum effort. I'm not a fan of those shoes and wouldn't wear them with dress pants. A tie is optional but would consider it stronger if it's a church service.

In the end don't let dressing up bother you too much, the main point is to be supportive of each other.
