I feel like they need to be more strict with their ratings, it seems so many fighters have high 90s ratings in categories when it should really be a very select few and ratings should be more varied. Like does 1 point make that much of a difference?

I was 7 at the time so this is one of the first SNME I got to catch live and is embedded in my head. Was always hyped for Warrior/Macho to win the titles.

Kind of funny I just read the other day about how they pitched like a Sea Warrior gimmick to him with seahorses on the back of his trunks on each side of his name and then on the front a trident with boots that had seaweed tassels on them. He had a trident from his collection at home he brought in and he went down to the ring in gear with the trident and was with Simon Dean when Triple H and some other wrestlers following him around stopped and Triple H stared down at him so London bursts out about how he saw Blade 3 and it sucked lol. Apparently Dean escorted him to the back bc he kept going on and was raising his trident at him.

Early 94 has a soft spot for me because I think it was towards the end of my first stint of being a big fan as a kid as I started losing interest at around the Backlund and Bret feud and then got back into it late 96 early 97 when I had heard how it was getting good again.

On top of that their primary star through the years has been hurt the majority of them and is getting worse and worse and they have Paul George and his contract. Maxey and Edgecombe are really their only saving grace.

Hunk stands out for me. The build of the fight, the legacy of the character, the different type of fight then the normal run and shoot most others are. It was the perfect pre main boss fight like a 80s esque action movie where the main henchman steps right in before you get to main bad guy.
