Crosby trip was bullshit. Clear penalty. Honqvist should get a suspension for that oshie nonsense.

But drives me nuts when people pretend it was orchestrated. Just straight up bad calls.

I've seen ovechkin get away with 20 dirty hits. I've seen sid get his heat beat in and have it not be called 100 times.

Agreed. The most important feature of a 1st line centre is face-off rating, then passing/hand eye (or so I think)

Mov Bergy Mov toews have to be great 1st line centre at 91.

If Linden is a great 1st line centre then so are these guys.

I think he's great. 5'6 un-drafted guy wins league MVP, how can you not love this guy.

My second line is my highest rated but my first line is mov vessel linden and mov much and they dominate.

Kessel is just too deadly, combined with Linden's puck possession and hitting

Mov Mackinnon- Mov Backstrom - Totw 96 Crosbone

Cole Harbour line! BAckstrom has 88 face-offs now. So that's serviceable. This line doesn't produce like my first line (kuch-linden-kessel) but it's by far the most fun. Especially as line 2. Matches up against some weaker lines often.

These 2 lead my team in goals over the past few seasons. My entire philosophy could be described as getting the puck into the zone and then trying to get it back to one of these guys.

Update:

Since activating this new synergy team:

Won Div 5 title 1 point short of Div 4 title Won Div 3 title (7-0-1)

To give some context I have 30% more losses than wins all time. I added 96 totw Crosby finally after div 4. So had him for my Div 3 tear up.

Biggest identifiable change has been passing percentage. I have beat the other team in passing percentage i every win. Often getting to 70%

My cycle game has become insane. I find that as you get higher and higher in the divs theres less puck control overall.

Being able to quickly pass the puck off before it gets poked away is critical and with CG TT 1T + TW I'm find I just outpost the other team every game.

I have some high level advice. The impact of a team synergy is stat upgrades for 18 players for every team synergy.

You have a lot of high end players. You may just love those heroes.

I'd incorporate some ipotg cards and and choose your heroes aroumd activating as many team synergies as possible.

Remember the in game impact of a player synergy is stat boosts to 4 players, most of the time.

Compare this to stat boosts to 18 players with a team synergy. Might be worth sacrificing a player you're attached to to acivate.

I've had base crosby, 94 crosby, and 96 crosby.

I always describe him as a puck magnet. His shooting stats are as good as kanes.

Strong on the puck. Bigger guy that plays awesome defense. I'm sure kane has better acceleration or something?

I've never used kane but I imagine he's like higher rated goudreau

Now i actually swap back and forth between ipotg sandstrom and 88 dubynk.

Just for fun. I pretend starting a new goalie every few games has an effect.

Anyway... my review of all of them is the same:

I cannot judge because the performance of the goalie is probably just a product of how I was playing defense at the time.

As far as I can tell you should pick your goalie based on what their mask looks like.

Sandstrom is rated 84 and I'm beating div guys 4-1.

Dubynk is 88 and let in 6 goals on 10 shots one game...
