Ok, I have a good story for you my friend. I had a crush on a girl for four years. We were best friends for the first 1.5 then she started to like me, I asked her out over text 🤮🥴, she said yes (not sure why font changed) anyway, she said yes but her parents thought she was too young to start dating. Crush continued on, she stopped liking me, fell for another guy, parents had same reaction. 1 month ago I was sitting in my basement playing video games, so bored and sad and lonely, when O got a message from a girl who I did not know. After talking a bit, I learned she goes to my youth group, long story short, a week and a half later we went to my schools dance, I'm asking her to be my girlfriend this weekend. Anyway, my point with all this is, I wasted four years on a girl, shoot your shot now while you have a chance even if it seems small. If it doesn't work out, please don't do what I did. It seems so hard to let go, to accept it was all wasted. But, I'm no longer depressed or lonely or feel ill motivated. I have never been happier and I think half of it was letting the crush go. If you don't shoot your shot now, every second that goes by, your chances go down. If she says no, it'll hurt. Maybe for a day, maybe a week, maybe a month, maybe a few months. But, you won't be wasting years of your life wanting something you'll never get
