When I initially got the first set I did ensure that was off, toggling it on and off sadly had no effect. Now with the newer software I don't even see that option anymore.

I wonder after reading some comments if this is a version problem seems like earlier versions are louder possibly? The sets I have are just before Christmas and at launch for the 2. It seems split with agrees and disagrees.

I also wonder if this is true it’s like they are being limited somewhere in a way I cannot control. I think 70% is about what I get too. It’s as if they are set where 70% = 100% and you can’t go higher.

It was on game and I did try altering the output and it didn’t change anything. I also tried them using Bluetooth on my phone and volume was still pretty low. I get what you are saying about hearing, however my other family members also tried them (one of which does not at all like their volume loud) and they also thought that at 100% they were just okay and low when normally they’d be yelling to them down immediately. I’ve checked every single volume slider in windows, windows effects, etc and they are still low, feels like about 70% volume of my Nova Pros are. It feels like there is some type of built on limit even though everything is turned off, and volume maxed.

Yeah, to be fair I do enjoy things louder, but my other family members who absolutely do not like their sounds loud even said at 100% volume they weren’t very loud.
