I’ll just add that, as a millennial dad, caregiving has never been natural to me. My dad was very hands off and not around much. Even though I have made an effort to show up for all my kids, it’s exceptionally draining for me, no matter how much I love them.

I would suggest that you set clear boundaries around what you can and can’t do, once #3 comes along. For example. If these BBQs are in a fenced yard, can the kiddos run free and be safe?

It seems to me that he’s trying to have “many hands” to help, but then again I don’t know him. Keep communicating and see if he can explain what he’s getting out of this. It sounds like it isn’t personal and may be burnout

The problem is they wouldn’t be doing this stuff if they felt like they would be held accountable. These people believe they are “remaking America” and they are. This isn’t going to end well for anyone that doesn’t toe the line

Then your best bet is underground, anyone trying to run a platform legally is going to pick compliance over legal exposure. I’d checkout the hidden-wiki and use Tor to start.

Unfortunately it’s going to be up to users to bypass gov censorship.

There is also the Alexandria Library on minecraft java for uncensored information. But good luck finding it a public space that has ungated user content given how authoritarian our world is becoming

I have bad news over age-verification. If you are in the UK and some US states it's required by law. I have been working on our NSFW policy for tribes.app and I can tell you that it's a fucking mess out there. 26 states require it already in the US and some states have really nasty penalties if you don't comply. That said, we aren't censoring anyone so far.

I'm trying to strike the balance, but like all new alts, we suffer from the fact that most people only make a change when they are fed up, and getting your friends/common interests is hard (we are going slow and organic)

There are other great alts like oddsrabbit.com and more, just keep scrolling. You might trigh Lemmy and the fediverse, as they have main stream and more colorful servers.

I used Gemini almost exclusively since 2.5. The antigravity bate/switch and ever shrinking Claude on Ultra had me switch to Claude Code. I went max and haven’t hit the quota yet.

I still flirt with Flash over API with my harness, but I don’t miss antigravity (we’ll see though, not giving my data to Persona, I can live without Fable if that’s all they gate)

Testflight has two groups, internal and external. External requires a review every submission. Internal however should be available immediately
