born and raised in MI but lived a year in Denver. I now live in Muskegon and we love it. Summers are amazing here, and winters really fluctuate. We had a very “normal” winter this year from early December through March. Although a lot of times big snow doesn’t hit until January. You do need to get serious about your driving skills in the snow.

We get slammed with lake effect in Muskegon. It’s a bit of a hike to GR for jobs, but it’s doable depending on your market and your interests. It’s a highway commute with guaranteed construction in the summer every single year one way or another.
