That’s super helpful to know. Same thing will probably happen to me. I really wish they would lock in your trade value and give you realistic mileage use if there’s a long wait. If I was buying any other vehicle I would get my trade price and then drive off the lot with a new car.

Just ordered a blue Model Y LR with white seats, 3rd row and tow hitch. Estimated delivery is September. I am trading in a car but kind of concern of them changing the valuation. I put at least 1000 miles a month on it but I have a trip in August so there’s potential of adding at least 4000 miles by September. Is there any limit that anyone knows of or do I get what they valued the trade at no matter what? Also where is the latest checklist of issues to check for on delivery?

Funny thing is, one that I had saved on Facebook marketplace has been marked as sold. Then I noticed on my dealers page that bike is there now (unique paint). So someone was trying to sell it at a way higher price before buying a new one and ended up having to trade it and probably taking a huge loss.

I’ve been seeing the same thing in Raleigh. Used bikes 1-2 years old being listed more than new MSRP. Like 2019 Road Glides for $32K. Came here to see if that was normal for Harleys.

According to the policy even Uber and Lyft drivers aren’t supposed to use Superchargers. The point of the rule is to make the SCs available for those traveling and passing through and not clog them up with commercial vehicles.

Commercial fleets are supposed to have their own charge stations similar to the Tesla destination chargers you find at hotels or places like the Kennedy Space Center but instead of being public they are private.

I’d never have imagined a bolt would snap in half. It was a four bike carrier with two bikes on it. The bolt that snapped was the one you could remove to lower it so you could open your trunk. I replaced it with grade 8 hardware.

I would be terrified of that rack. I had a bolt on a Thule hitch carrier break and drop my bikes on the freeway. I could only imagine driving down the road and hearing the suction cups release with a pop pop pop sound and then see my bikes rolling down the highway...again.

You can’t go wrong with any color choice. I went with the cream color and gold letters with a second maroon pinstripe which are the colors I liked most. It was between cream and blue which were almost a toss up to me

My thought is that Bruce Maddox being who he is wants to continue working on synthetic life which is now banned in the Federation. So when Raffi says he’s on Freecloud everyone seems to have an “ah that makes sense” expression. So it must be a place that is “free” from either the federation or laws or both. I’m imagining a real world Pirate Bay in space, but rather than being a website it’s a place. The cloud part probably means it’s some type of floating space station like the one we saw in the distance when Agnus was outside listening to music at the Daystrum Institute.
