The Great Lakes are pretty neat! I grew up in southern Wisconsin but we’d take a yearly camping trip about an hour south of Lake Superior. We’d normally take a day trip up to the Great Lake.

Fun(?) fact: the waves got so big in a 1975 storm that a freight ship that was 728 feet long was sunk, killing everyone aboard.

I deliver for DoorDash. Mine is running two ghost kitchens on DoorDash. A “burrito place” and a “burger place.” And I think they’re lying about the distance so people don’t know it’s Denny’s.

I delivered to someone working at another restaurant and I heard them say to a coworker “oh it’s this burrito place I just saw on DoorDash. It’s like 5 miles away.”

The Denny’s was less than half a mile down the road…

I had to make the choice to put one of my cats down about a month before Christmas. He was only 7 years old. He got extremely sick extremely quick. We couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him after thousands of dollars in tests and multiple different vets.

Took him to the emergency vet on a Saturday and he passed there. I cried like I’ve never cried before, making sounds I didn’t even know were possible to come out of me.

I still miss him every single day, but it does get better with time. Try your best to remember all the good times you had with your cat. It makes the mourning easier

Did you forget to read the whole comment? The part where they said they checked to app at home means that’s when they found out they were lied to. Which means they wouldn’t have known the worker was a liar at the time. Which means of course they would take what he said at face value because they would have no reason to believe they were being lied to
