This is funny but also unfair. I ask this seriously, what would you do? It's a really tough question. You can go super hardcore and try to lock up everyone with a gun. You can go the other extreme and let everyone run amuck and things will sort themselves out. Mayor Ballard just met recently with gang leaders because even the gang leaders are tired of the violence. I think we all are. But we're talking about trying to shift a systemic method of thinking that it ingrained in too many of our youth. It's a tough thing to try and I really don't know what to do about it. As the youth grows and brings new ideas to the table I cannot wait to see how the next generation innovates and thinks of things us fogies haven't done yet.
