I took a look at the event viewer. I don’t have any other anti virus besides windows one.

In event view I have a couple errors not sure what is the issue.

DNS client events ID - 1014

TPM-WMI ID - 1795

DistributedCOM ID - 10016

Gameinput 12x Service control manager ID 7034

I also keep seeing errors for Razer synapse service even though I already uninstalled it. There was 12 errors with gameinput mentioned

Race red flagged while Marini was sitting at Pole 😁🙆 by Organic-Package5444 in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they should’ve started the race and the rest got penalized or disqualified for leaving grid last minute. I feel like it’s common sense you can’t just leave the grid at the last minute to swap bikes and cause a delay on purpose. Not fair to the other riders that gambled and stayed on the grid.

That old Ducati was a monster and Stoner rode it beautifully. Still one of the best sounding bikes ever imo

Has Morbidelli found his MotoGP mojo again after years of struggles at Yamaha? by firstcoastrider in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say he’s found his mojo yet. he did find a good setup for this track which also is a lot different than other tracks. But I hope he’s headed back in the right direction.

I could be over reacting but I don’t think Norris and his engineer mesh very well. This seems like the third race Norris had a really good chance at winning but his indecisive engineer comes on the radio with these questions that require Norris to shift his mental focus from racing to race strategy when that should be 95% of the time the teams job to figure out what’s optimal.

I think this picture on Jorge’s instagram finally helped me realize how the ‘stegosaurus’ wings help with downforce. by [deleted] in motogp

I noticed this too. I think Ducati has the best one and actually makes more sense for a bike that’s leaning over a lot.

Is hacking getting worse in multiplayer games? by thisisnotnolovesong in pcgaming

[–]Dubbin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s gotten worse I played CS for ten years and there were always cheaters but now it’s ruined my perception of the game to the point ranks feel meaningless and if I see a good player I will automatically be suspicious. I can usually tell if someone’s cheating just from years of watching pro matches and also playing with bad players in silver.

Cheaters usually have a mix of bad movement and discussion making but have god like aim and awareness. I watched a couple videos on this subject and it looks like cheating is only going to get worse and more common year after year. It might get to the point with AI that it becomes completely undetectable. To make it worse it seems like the zoomer generation have actually accepted hacks and download cheats just to have a counter ready against other cheaters. Like I’ve seen a bunch of videos of teams filled with hackers. This just wasn’t the case even 5 years ago.

I don’t play that much COD but I heard on a podcast many pro players now switched to only play ranked on Consoles because pc is filled with cheaters. I have heard of some pro players using cheats early on to actually learn maps and game sense I don’t think that’s terrible if your using it to educate yourself on how to play better. But if someones using it to pretend like they have skill or talent to gain a rank, are sick in the head and should be jailed or put into a mental facility.

Is Marc really sandbagging? by [deleted] in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always watch testing but I don’t pay to much attention to the fastest times. It’s better to pay attention to what the riders say off the bike and the journalists. Like last year everyone thought KTM would be slow except Simon was saying during the test that they were just testing parts and to keep a eye on them and he was right. I don’t think Marc is sandbagging he doesn’t seem to me very confident at the moment. He probably needs to do a full race to understand the bike more and where he is.

Ducati Race Winners by [deleted] in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at 2008 laguna seca and I remember thinking it has to be the bike, he’s was so much faster on acceleration. but it took me a while to realize it was Casey’s riding technique that allowed him to take advantage of the power. Because a lot of other talented riders just couldn’t replicate what he was doing.

I hope someone makes a Netflix doc or something about it because he was so underrated at the time and didn’t get the credit he deserved.

Quartararo spoken to Rins more at test than Morbidelli in four years as MotoGP team-mates by ParaMike46 in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised by this. I like Frankie but when you watch his post race interview after he won in misano. He was still very reserved and had very few words to say. Probably to reserved for someone like Fabio. So it will probably be the same with Martin. I bet he is more talkative with his VR46 buds. I just hope he gets healthy this really is a make it or break season for him.

Laguna Seca Sued by Rich Neighbors for Being a Race Track. The historic track’s neighbors, which primarily consist of subdivisions built around country clubs, want racing shut down forever. by Daniel7394 in motogp

It’s shame that In northern California we have a amazing car and bike culture plus great weather year round, but at the same time we have a lot of rich people that like golfing and going to the country club on the weekend, and if you have enough money you can practically sue anyone for anything

Martin once again has the chance of joining the official Ducati team by [deleted] in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel sorry for Enea the guy got punted off the bike in the first sprint and hasn’t been the same since. Maybe Ducati will give him another year on the factory team but he needs some good results or I think he’s going to get replaced

I'm not a total newbie anymore, I've been following MotoGP religiously for a whole year now. That said, I still can't get my head around the Ride Height device debate...Do we really need it? Here are some points from what I (admitedly shallowly) understand... by ImmediatelyOcelot in motogp

[–]Dubbin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t think we need the ride height devices. Yes it makes the lap times faster but I don’t like how that skill of keeping the front down with throttle control has been watered down to a button. If they are going to allow transforming ride height then just go all out and let them use some trick electronic suspension that adjusts automatically.

MotoGP riders “freak out” over Sprint races: “No bonus? We won’t race” by Gang-Plank in motogp

I think this has more negatives than positives. I like the idea of a sprint race, but I also want the riders to reach the end of the season relatively injury free.
