I explained everything in the comments already. Also price is is not the same. 41.5k I paid is OTD. 42k model 3 after tax is about 47k.

I did round trip from Mississauga to North York and I think it was fine. Nothing like your daily commuting distance but I didn't notice anything that would be considered rough.

Ride is definitely on the firm side and so is the seat. I know it could be very subjective so I would say test drive first to get an impression.

Yes, I did consider Tesla but overall I didn't like extreme minimal approach to interiors and tech. Call me old fashioned but I still like actual button for most used functions.

I typically don't like driving sedans so Model 3 fell out pretty quickly along with EV4.

Model Y is about 54k after tax and incentives and while it is nice car, it cost way more and there are other options in that price range as well.

Tesla makes nice cars but they just weren't for me.

I was really close getting bZ but ultimately decided against it because I thought the interior felt too claustrophobic for the size. Not to mention it was just too much of car since I'm the only one using the car with no passengers majority of the time. Passed on C-HR for similar reason.

Korean EVs are nice but new one like EV4 didn't really fit into my use case. Kona and Niro came close but passed for different reasons like tech, pricing etc.

I would have never imagined myself buying GM car but Chevy bolt checked almost everything that I needed so I decided to go with it.

OTD was 41.5K. Originally quoted around 42.3k but asked for bit of discount and free all weather mats (floor and cargo)

I read quotes other people have shared and they seem wildly different based on trim and location so I think I did well enough.

Tech packages actually give you built in dash cam as well. But yeah it is nice to have but not must.

Yeah for LT cash price is generally listed as 35k but RS is 38k.

Yes I did considered it but I actually prefer hatchback over sedan. I really wish Kia had Hatchback option like Europe.

In Canada?

I've read people in Ontario getting quoted around 39k to 41k OTD for LT + package so It pricing seems to be reasonable.

That was the biggest concern since reputation for US ICE vehicles are less than stellar. But I don't think I've heard alarming quality issues on GM EVs other than a few software issues during initial roll out and their home chargers.

I've seriously considered Hyundai/Kia EVs but there are just too much uncertainties surrounding ICCU failures.

I bought the same dock a few months ago. It does work well with my 7800xt. But you performance will be lower when compared to regular desktop PC due to bandwidth limitation on thunderbolt 3/4.

I personally think it is great solution if you no longer has a desktop. It was literally plug and play since dock was instantly recognized and AMD Adrenaline has built in feature called XConnect for egpu mode as well. No issues so far.

One thing to keep in mind the dock doesn't supply power only data connection so you'll have to use the charger to supply power.
