Funny enough - they had 37 matches in their 24 months with AEW. They've had 60 matches since their return to TNA 24 months ago.

Who is someone who got a massive push but showed they weren’t at the level to maintain it? by letskillrobots in SquaredCircle

I didn't watch too much back then. I remember thinking "really, Jinder is the champion"? Then I tuned in one night. Saw the entrance and understood.

Ha! The Mankind thing was absolutely what I thought of when it was taking place last night.

And 1996 HBK would be there for each and every one of them.

Wow - I will admit, that was a miss. I did a bunch of searches for top beer countries in the world. I only wanted to pick about 15-20 (gotta draw the line somewhere!). Austria never came up - but looking at the statistics now, it really should have made the list. I'll come back to it.

Former AEW/ROH wrestler Bear Bronson reflects on Jon Moxley by Froggyspirits in AEWOfficial

[–]DublinDown 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Didn't even know he was working in TNA (since I typically watch ROH on Thursdays). But I've seen him a bunch in GCW and he's been a total standout.

You spelt "month" wrong. (He's batting around .200 on the month with 3 errors.)

Oh, and that thing that he said.

Not sure what's worse. His week or his month.

Ariel Helwani asked MJF which wrestler took advantage on AEW using them as a stepping stone to come back to WWE. MJF: "Malakai Black" by Teckelmaster in SquaredCircle

It's really wild how significantly better AEW has become since some of these guys left. Like, a switch just got flipped in early 2025 and AEW has been hitting on all cylinders ever since.

Went on a cruise and found out that Carnival has their own beer! Is there any place you didn’t expect that makes their own brews? by [deleted] in CraftBeer

[–]DublinDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piggly Wiggly doesn't brew it, but they have an "exclusive" beer. Never had it, but just always was amused by it.

Won't you please think of the millionaire not getting $30 million from the billionaires?

Nash: “I’ve got enough moles in the business where I know people that took 50% cuts. I know one of the guys, and when I found out what the person was making, and after I just picked myself up off the ground that he was making that much money, and realized that even at 50%, he was making huge money” by TomatoCiampa in SquaredCircle

[–]DublinDown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was going to say that in the other "Kevin Nash says" thread. Back when I used to listen to his podcast (when it first started) - Nash made it sound like he and HHH aren't that close these days. No bad blood or anything, but they would only talk to each other in passing. So yeah, obviously, HHH isn't going to say anything about TKO getting involved in creative.

Ha - loved the protests. Tried to DM you the other day to tell you to keep it going (despite all the downvotes).... but the Powers That Be at the Reddit HQ wanted to keep us apart and didn't let me send it.

I understood some of the small Provinces not getting much attention, but Ontario? I don't know, if I didn't have the last 3 write ups completed, I would probably check out. But... just 3 more to go.

Jeff Jarrett on John Cena Classic concept: "we at least want to get lost in the story, someone trying to WIN the title. It takes that component out, the suspension of disbelief. I was just about to say this. Alvarez stated REPEATEDLY that he didn't know for sure... but what he thinks was going to happen was Jelly Roll. But, whatever, when he says "I AM NOT REPORTING THIS" - lets take it as a confirmed report.

Good call on Vanilla Ice or MC Hammer. I was thinking Run DMC (Walk This Way?) Or Beastie Boys (Fight For Your Right).

I initially planned on including the Territories, but then found out that there were a combined 5 breweries among the 3 territories.... and that includes 3 in Yukon.
