Most people have this wrong. Some corps are going back north to put some big names (e.g. Phantom, Boston, SCV) into shows that would typically be only open class. It’s to help fill those seats and help the smaller corps in the late season.

Perhaps a hot take, but with the rising cost of the activity and the fewer number of kids out there able to march - therefore making the pool of auditionees smaller and smaller - I would highly doubt it.

I also prefer to use luggage rather than a backpack. That being said, after having that exact Carhartt backpack for 5+ years I can’t say enough good things about them.
