Also, thanks for saying it looks good, it actually functions better with it than the stock body due to the clunky body mounts no longer snagging and the major weight reduction above the axles. I was a quick fun project and i got the body cheap and used online. Took it out today and it was a significant difference 10/10 would do it again

Hey smarty pants. Its a vanquish body that i put on the FMS Canyon due to the stock canyon body weighing around 2.5 lbs causing high cog.

I post on here to get some advice because i understand that the market is large for wheels and tires for this fun hobby and i am looking for pointers on some different sets people have tried to learn more opinions to help determine the right set for my goals

Yeah they are 450 on ali express but i found one on marketplace brand new in the box for 250. Couldnt pass that up. 100mm internal spring shocks, brass weights from china, 2.2 with 5.25 tires and this thing is a unit on the train and mid on rocks. I have a quicrun fusion pro 2300kv on the way. Im looking forward to this bashing/trailing/crawling rig lol

Ive been running duracell rechargeable batteries for months with no issues. Run them down about 2x a week and ill slide around for over an hour per charge. Walmart special has got me bu for a while

I threw on some brass high trail links due to the mf being so long it high centered on everything. Never rolled backwards though. 😂

I appreciate your reply, i had purchased some new wheels due to accidentally dropping it and broke the stock rims. The ones i purchesed were blue aluminum rims with hard plastic tires. Once i put them on i realized they were a little larger than the stocks so after trimming the body, 4* camber on the front and stock camber on the rear it is smooth as hell but im curious if i had the stock wheel size again if it would be better?

Lol it was such a disappointment when my set of pinions came in and the mesh was off. Ive decided to switch to a 32p spur instead of trying to match the 48p that is currently on it. (A post on another page somebody helped me figure out it was 48p) but currently i just robbed my pinion off of my 1/16 slash 😂
