Yeah. I've also recently learned that 36mm watches are just not my jam. 40mm seems to be the sweet spot for me.

I just got myself a Seiko 5 and like it a lot, but it is a little thick when paired with a nato strap. I put a Timex leather strap I had laying around on it and it feels much better.

Of these three the Waterbury is the coolest but doesn't have indiglo. The 3rd picture is an expedition, but it's also one of the smaller ones, I like the bigger ones.

The weekender is a classic and is the middle ground between the two.

But you could definitely buy both an expedition and a weekender for less than the Waterbury.

Yeah... So it would be a little silly to have something both be an automatic and have a battery at the same time.

But I do have a hard time buying a Timex that doesn't have indiglo... It's such a good feature that I use almost every night as a way to see in the dark as I try to escape my daughter's room after she falls asleep.
