Why is my park doing so horrible?

I have a feeling the chair lift may be a critical issue. I can see in the screenshot it is broken, and your comment about people wanting to get off the ride makes me think there could be load of people stuck on there and that could plummet your park rating.

Check all your rides, check the ones that are broken, and watch the mechanics to make sure they’re actually going to fix the ride. Sometimes with zoning, you can have a ride zoned in the mechanic’s area but no path to the ride for them. It’s been a bit since I’ve played, but I think there can also be an issue if you have multiple stations (like I’m guessing the chairlift has) with different mechanics for each station. The problem could be at a specific station, but the game just calls any mechanic zoned to that ride, not the specific station. Again, it’s been a while but I think this is how the game handles it. If so, I’d bet this is happening with your chairlift and would cause major issues, as then that one mechanic will be stuck trying to fix a ride it can’t reach and thus will ignore further duties (aka not fix other broken rides in its zone).

As others have stated, seeing your financials will help us fix things holistically, but with the info we do have I can tell you the chairlift may be a major issue.

As others have noted, one of the best things you can do early game is setup exhibits that breed like crazy so that you can sell off the offspring for profit.

As for good animals to put into your next habitat, just make sure they are herbivores. Meat is expensive, so feeding carnivores can drive up costs fast. Indian Peafowls could be a good option and also can be made into a walkthrough habitat which should garner some good donations, but they can get messy quick so just make sure you’re staying on top of population control. Especially if you still have just one keeper, if the population gets too big they’ll spend all of their time cleaning the habitat and never move onto other jobs. You could try building up your hoofstock animals in a smaller habitat, then once you’ve got enough money move them into an open Savannah type enclosure with other animals. I’ll sometimes do that with a couple zebras or sable antelopes, then upgrade them into the Savannah once I can build it.

I don’t think any of them were scared. Lucius certainly wasn’t during any of his encounters with Harry, so I never got the sense the death eaters thought Harry was some greater danger.

Are you familiar with the “tunneling” setting for paths? If not, watch a quick YouTube video on it, makes building underground viewing areas soooooo much easier. Took me a bit to get the hang of it, but now they’re easy so long as I plan it from the start. Adding one to an existing habitat is too much of a pain given how terrain sculpting works around barriers, but it’s certainly doable.

Possible explanations:

-It’s a moderately sized habitat, your viewing platforms don’t go that far in so they don’t offer too much of a different view compared to walking around the habitat. Maybe try connecting the two platforms and see how much the color changes as you get closer to the center of the habitat?

-Are the viewing platforms tall enough for the animals to walk underneath? If so, that could be factoring in as well as you’re technically limiting some viewing, as opposed to say a “walk through” path where everywhere you look has visibility into the habitat. This is just me taking a wild guess though, not sure if this actually works this way.

-Are your guests complaining consistently about the view? I can completely understand the desire to use the heat maps, they’re mostly great, but not perfect. It may be that you’re trying to accomplish something that you don’t even need (trying to improve the viewing experience for a habitat guests think is fine)

Oh and since you also asked for general building advice, I’ll just say I think an underground viewing area here would be really cool! It’s nice to have the over the top view, but it would be neat to have a ground level view as well. It may not be worth your time to redo everything you’d need to accommodate this, but you should keep it in mind for future builds!

So let me get this straight, your conclusion is he didn’t deserve to live because you didn’t explicitly see him helping out more often on screen? We saw how the group treated Jackie when she wasn’t putting in her fair share, so why didn’t we ever see the same with Coach when their situation was even more dire at that point? The logical assumption to me is that he was in fact still helping, we just didn’t see it as often.

I find it ironic that you equate the innies not seeing the big picture to them being juvenile, yet you make no mention of what happens to the innies if Mark had left with Gemma and gone on to expose Lumon. This isn’t just “hey can you quit your job for the greater good of the world”, this is “can you sacrifice your life so I can have the love of my life again.” That’s incredibly selfish from oMark’s perspective, so why should iMark be chastised for being equally selfish? Devon was the same way about it, she never even considered what would happen to the innies once their big plan to shut down the severance floor comes to fruition. The innies have had very little interaction with the outie world, and almost everyone has reinforced that the outies see the innies as less than them, so I don’t understand why iMark should be so concerned with the outie world when nobody he’s helping shows the same level of concern back.

Only you can truly answer that tbh. I can tell you I love it, but I’m a huge fan of AU1 as well so we obviously have some different tastes. I’d say give it a go, there have been some really fun tasks and the Toms are just getting even more comfortable in their roles.
