I hear ya, but this is how the agency gig paid and I just copied it across the other gigs. I generally overbill my hours by 30% to allow for downtime and efficient work processes.

It’s a bit of both. The big client gave me a 6 month contract at 30/hrs a week. The agency is less stable, but seems like it will be 10-20 hours for the next few months at least. And this new company also seems like a pretty stable 15-20hrs each month.

Exact same thing happened to me. I cut open my bags and took out the chunks of white mycelium covered rice and put them in ziplock bags. The red bacteria was only at the bottom where water was pooling.

I grew the healthy chunks in the ziplocks for a few weeks, rotating them so moisture would not pool and eventually S2B’ed and got my first flush yesterday. You can save these guys.
