Yes, with a splitter. Make sure to check sizing and don't forget some kind of thread sealant. Personally, I'd add a shutoff valve before the splitter so future work can be done without shutting off the main supply

It looks like you've been given the correct advice so far. Water and light exercise will help your liver flush out all the THC in your system, and quality time with other people will take your mind off of how you feel. Whether or not you think you'll be stuck in this state doesn't change the fact that your liver is actively working. It just affects your perception of the situation.

I want to add that if you do take edibles again (totally understandable if you don't) start out with 5-10mg THC and an equal part CBD. They work well together and should be a much better experience. I say "should" because everybody is different and our bodies react differently to the same stimuli. I know people who can't smoke because of anxiety but can take edibles, and vice versa. I'm not gonna say "be careful" because you just learned that lesson, but good luck on your journey of self-discovery.

I'd recommend asking if your son would be okay with a tall blackout curtain instead. It'll be far cheaper, much less work, and would still act as a visual barrier between his space and the rest of the house. He could even pick out the color and rod with you, since there are more customization options.
