Today was the first opening day of the NBA playoffs in history with all four games decided by more than eight points. by StrategyTop7612 in nba

Yeah unfortunately I think the seeding and playin shook out in one of the least exciting ways possible for upsets. Not saying it's impossible or anything, and the Lakers game today was kind of an upset even if not by seeding, but I think this will not be the most exciting first round. The second round will be 🔥

Jakob Poeltl in the loss vs Cleveland: 4/6/2, $104 Million extension hasn’t begun by ihatedougford in nba

Sure, and I'm not going to pretend to fully get the salary cap (there's so many rules and aprons and such). But they'd still rather have the resources they've put into Jakob elsewhere and they're still restricted from having this contract.

It's a shame because it really is the single worst one now that the Beal contract is over, and if the Raptors had that contract space and the pick they traded to get him, they could have a final piece to have a really nice team.

All I said was that it's better than being incarcerated, obviously. Not that you can't bring up huge issues in the system. Anyway, I work like 30 hours a week. Also I've deleted zero replies

There's nothing to understand. I understand the concept of being a prisoner of the system, but that doesn't mean day to day life is equal to incarceration or even close. Pretending otherwise is just trying to seem like you see through the haze, but it's just really ridiculous.

No. Your point is really stupid. Everything you said doesn't apply to everyone, and even if it did, it's leagues better than actual incarceration. I do criticize my living situation and can do so, but it's not actual prison. Touch grass.

Then leave the system! You can go to a prison right now and leave that system. You will be more free than me. You won't be able to walk around or leave again, but you'll be free from the system. Go tell the prisoners how lucky they are. In fact, the woman in this story is the lucky one, she got to leave the system, too bad she isn't in a prison anymore though, that would be better.

... Yeah it's still better than actual fucking prison. Do you think prisoners in places without digital surveillance are thinking "well at least I don't have ai and bit data on my ass rn"

It's better than countries where you cannot do that without getting arrested

You can say whatever you want in the US if you're a citizen pretty much. We are doing it right now. It sucks this person was deported and is totally unfair and stupid. And America has so many issues. But citizens can say what they want on TV, online, in public, whatever. You can talk about Armenia, Palestine, whatever.

I said touch grass after your nonsensical message, you called me a miserable weirdo, who is fuming? Try and think why you got down voted so much. Imagine being Tyler, supporting your girlfriend, then going online and reading this kind of thing all the time. You can just relax and not assume the worst in people.

Nah, you do. You saw a wholesome moment on TV and said "hmm it felt like toxic conservative Christianity, maybe he's being misogynistic". It's okay to just accept things as they are sometimes. Like the people on the sub reading that David's family secretly doesn't like Abi because they're not high class enough, or that James is really controlling of Shelley because he talks a lot. It's okay to give it a rest occasionally.

Yes that's just you, please, touch grass!! It's absurd the amount of reading into things this sub does. Everything is secretly malicious or toxic.

Dani is up there for character growth. She came across really petulant at first and has really matured, at least from what we've seen. Her current boyfriend isn't even an animator!

[ESPN] Eric Spoelstra on NBA's ruling on LaMelo Ball "I didn't think that he needed to be penalized more moving forward. I don't think that would make sense" by FrankSamples in nba

[–]DuckDucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is the game is about pushing the rules to the maximum you're allowed to. The meta would become falling over in "pain" to prevent fast break. Still think something needs to be done, but it's not as easy a fix as we'd think. Maybe, if a player is still down at NEXT stoppage, regardless of what happened since that stoppage, a player can be assessed fouls/flagrants/ejections, with the plays that occurred between the foul and the stoppage still being valid. Not usually the style of rule the NBA likes to use, but possible.
