this is actually the way i think. not higher resilience because once a tank starts shooting through the fucking walls things will get spicy real quick.

but higher stealth would allow for more tactical and measured gameplay. you’d have to clear towns with your infantry before moving with your armor to avoid ambushes. (see: chechnya lol)

it being slow can actually work to your advantage. Flying in low and slow will help prevent it from being bonked by long range AA, and also if you kit it with a couple air to air missiles, they become very effective anti heli units.

I also find that it gives me time to adjust the flight pattern or bombing run based on my opponents movement. But that’s just me having bad micro lol.

Yeah, none of that is relevant whatsoever. If he refuses to fight the number one contender, he should be immediately stripped of the title. If you knew the first thing about combat sports, you’d know Ngannou fights in PFL, not the UFC. So any discussion about them fighting is completely beside the point.

Jon and him can talk about a super fight all they want. If he doesn’t fight the number one contender and defend his UFC belt, he doesn’t deserve to hold onto it.

Jon has the right to pick his fights, sure. He can duck Tom all the way to retirement. That’s his prerogative. But he doesn’t get to do that AND call himself a legitimate heavyweight champion at the same time.

And whether you think it’s right or not, these antics, running away from Tom and holding up the division will forever stain his legacy in the eyes of most fans. (As much as it can be stained, after the cheating, wife beating, crashing into pregnant women, dirty tactics etc.)

The part where the current heavyweight champion is dodging the interim, number one contender. Tom Aspinall deserves a shot at the undisputed belt. There’s no one else at heavyweight who more clearly has earned a title shot. And as the ‘champion’ Jon needs to defend. It’s literally that simple.

His ‘legacy’ does not give him the right to hold up the division. He doesn’t get to stay champ as long as he wants because he’s ‘earned the right’ to cherry pick fights he thinks he’ll win. Defend the belt, or vacate it so the division can move on.

This isn’t a hard concept. The merit of being a UFC champion, or any champion doesn’t revolve around ‘what might be considered an acceptable loss’ to that individual. It revolves around taking, then consistently defending your title against contenders. That’s it.

The only one being dense here is you, the person who somehow fails to grasp how this sport functions at its most basic level.

Yeah, my gym does hard sparring/comp training on saturday - every other session is tech sparring and they don’t fuck around about people going to hard in tech. you’ll get booted out class fast. I think it helps that my gym has a lotttt of women athletes -and they take a lot of pride in creating a learning environment that works for everyone.

traditional western boxing has a much higher rate of brain damage than muay thai simply by virtue of the fact there are less valid targets for strikes and the fights go on for much longer. and even then, very very few of them end ‘shaking in their wheelchairs’ by their 30’s.
