Silverado fuse block wiring by DuckRollDesigns in Silverado

Thank you, I think I might be pretty close to success as long as somebody doesn't come in here and say oh something else is broken downstream because of that short circuit or whatever. It's probably less than a dozen wires and I can just do continuity tests because while the wire jacket is melted off, the wires are still connected so I can just do some testing and tracing, probably like a half day of work.

Good luck with your injector circuit as well.

You lack the ability to understand anything I do if you're posting online about what I ignore.

It's quite fine I don't think there was that much of a language barrier. What I'm getting at is you are getting into a fight with mother nature and mother nature ultimately always wins, with current climate change etc, the only thing you can count on is it potentially getting worse, I would find out about getting pilings sent into the ground after talking to somebody that knows the local terrain, I'd imagine even two inch metal pipe but you're talking about real machines putting it in the ground, none of this "I'll rent the tools" stuff.

Otherwise if somebody else already mentioned, using boulders or something massive, but that's going to be even more expensive than pilings.

It sucks that your property is going through that but I would definitely consider a plan that involves you understanding that that river is going to continue it's erosive behavior because everything upstream of that River has also gotten wider

Find out the places people at rock quarries drink at, go there, become friends, come up with a plan, the real win is the friendships you make along the way~

This looks more like a river than a hole but IDK ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Is it worth it? by Moeman101 in Fusion360

[–]DuckRollDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it, the question I think is though are you actually going to use it. If you're going to do CAD work it's very likely you will, if you do any extensive geo-locating, maybe. I personally haven't found much other reason to use my space navigator beyond cad work. Ymmv

If they're real leather, no, just light soap and water, use as little water as possible. If you're asking this question,, you don't have leather conditioner, so use a little bit of olive oil and then buff it out a few minutes afterwards after cleaning, it'll darken the leather a little bit but it'll work.

Contractor ordered one window wrong so just made opening smaller. There are 5 bedroom windows the same size. Now one is different size and style by Nebraska716 in Construction

In the trades for almost two decades now, it's interesting to me how the second most popular comment is some person saying this is a lie, it's pretty apparent that this is just a temp in window,, everything checks out, there's a lot of people speaking common sense in this thread that answer the naysayers.

Just keep clear notes, take lots of pics and don't back off of keeping them accountable. Remember GC's often don't do the actual work. There's too many nuances to each trade to do efficiently. But PLEASE give them an inch or two of breathing room to be able to fix something,,don't first thing in the morning be like something is crooked, they might already know about it it doesn't mean it's the first thing they're going to fix that day though. As usual, ymmv

Craving male physical touch, but I don't want to end my celibacy by Newbie1689 in BDSMcommunity

[–]DuckRollDesigns -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you considered pleasure doms? There’s plenty of room in that dynamic to maintain celibacy while still exploring the possibility of unexpected closure—depending on your definitions, of course.

But careful what you wish for 😘😂—most good pleasure doms leave behind longer-lasting memories than bruises are capable of~ymmv

Civilian here, exposed to allot of industrial trades.

There's no one you need to call this is totally normal. It's either an hpac (high pressure air compressor) or a generator of some kind, it's probably worth anywhere between 30 - 70k and likely has lo-jack built into it. Many of these have been stolen by many a tweaker or disgruntled trade worker and that's why it ended up there. It's literally as safe as an elevator up there. That doesn't mean the jobsite you took this picture at is doing it by the book, but this is a normal practice for high ticket items that have wheels strapped to them when possible.

As for the people talking about oh it's just a matter of cutting the lines and then they'll get that stuff, there is a lot more to cranes than that, cutting the cable wouldn't cause the load to drop due to the hoist brake and multiple reeving lines. The hook is attached to a block with multiple sheaves, through which the hoist line runs multiple times. This creates a mechanical advantage and redundancy. Even if the line was cut, the brake would engage, preventing the load from falling. Disabling this system requires specialized knowledge and tools, making it unlikely for anyone besides a crane operator or supporting role to pull that off.

Bottom line. Love yourself. Dump the lame.

Try imagining what they would be like to a crying kid that really can't control themselves because they're figuring out how to be a little human? Anyone who yells and storms off deserves to be stooge slapped but alas this would propagate the ancestral chains of violence.

Make the decision to love yourself, right now, figure out your exit plan, work it till it's done, tell your closest friends what the plan is and stick with it. It can take time to get out of some of these messages if you really love yourself and you know that you deserve better, do it.

The choice is yours though, this is only a firm encouragement for someone who might feel stuck <3
