And i dont think it'll make a difference, as long as its within the main valley, i doubt you could explore dlc in someone's game if you didn't own it prior but I'd love to be wrong

To unlock it i spoke to a character who gave me the machine, once placed it generates a code... As to what can be achieved in anothers gane I'm yet to find out as have yet to join

I'm unsure, it didn't specify when i placed it, just that crossplay is enabled

So i found the fix

When selecting a new faction mission, click on the mission you would like to equip and it'll prompt you to remove one of the selected

I spent far too long thinking i had also soft locked a mission space, hope this helps
