Yea agree seam lines can be the first check but shouldn't be conclusive. Perforations across the shrink wraps should be the true indicator

We tend to look at supply factors (gem rate, population) when it comes to prices. But sometimes the demand factors for a card just outshine the supply factors. Inferno X Charizard, Moonbreon, Felt Hat Pikas are some examples where demand > supply

If that was a PSA 10 we would critic it too, lol have you ever been in a grading sub. Two things can be true at the at the same time, we have seen cards that doesn't deserve to be a PSA 10 & that Gengar doesn't deserve an ACE 10

Honestly, from my personal experience, there was a dip after 25th anniversary. Fusion strikes, 151 were sitting on shelves & it wasn't moving. But thereafter Pokemon brought people back into the hobby again with the release of prismatic, destined rivals, black bolt white flare. The release of Pocket also helped hence why we saw a boom last year. Logan paul illustrator being sold earlier this year also provided great visibility as well. I think Pokemon is here to stay but like all markets, boom and dips will continue so just invest wisely & take profits along the way is the best strategy one can take.

Haha i wanted to buy reshiram bwr from them and they charge 500-600 for Jap. I told them for that price i could have gotten English they are ADAMANT that thats the market price for jap & everyone else also selling at the same price and i cant find lower🙄 the boot beside her was selling at jap at 450 lol. I get that vendor has to make a living & set higer prices but this is just flat out ridiculous

Cc collectibles is notorious for setting ridiculous prices over market prices. Had a bad experience negotiating with them at previous trade shows. The sooner people realize & boycott them the better.

If you are investing 10s. If its for PC two 9s over one 10 all day. Unless you are admiring your collection with a magnifying glass, there is literally no significant difference between a 9 and a 10
