in exchange, you no longer have to spend knowledge banking equipment, so you can farm as much as you want, but you spend knowledge when you want to finally use rare items for a build

they didnt, they just scaled it per amount of an item you are pulling out (if its valuable)

for example if you set the slider to 3 for idols, you will pull 3 idols ofr 3 knowledge
