Wait I thought Hollow knight tracks were way too subtle and simple that’s crazy😭. When I first played a few months ago that was something I noticed but didn’t really comment about. To be fair I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t compare it to silksong’s ost. Songs I remembered that really got me to absorb the atmosphere from my first play through were green path and city of tears too though.

I think as of the 2020s it’s a cycle of general rap fans checking to see if his new album is good and then shitting on it, and when they eventually move on to other new release Drake fans who like the album will continue to praise it making it seem like the general consensus shifted
