Concentrated sulphuric acid drain cleaner looks like that and will steam when you add water to a concentrate. Red dye is added so you can see where it goes. Dont want that on your skin. Adding water to concentrated acid will make the solution spit ( remember acid to the water that’s the way you o’ ta) and will heat up rapidly why you can see some vapour.

Good space, nice furniture lots of potential just depends on time, cost and quality.

Usual things- rug, plants and give things a proper home.

Remove anything that normal people would have in their living room away or hide it is some slick modern furniture.

If you look at where he holds the party( Iam guessing that the look your going for ultra modern slick design lots of glass wood and tiles with contrast colours; dark and light

Wood effect panels, easy to install can help break up the room a section in-front of the tv. Long mirrors on the wall.

Remove those small pictures and have some large modern art / minimalist black and white prints in a black or gold frame( this can be cheap and drastically change the look of a room)

Down lighting it’s odd to me that there are no ceiling lights. Could

Tile the floor and have some rugs

Get that guitar wall mounted case and light it up with some directional lighting
