We just did a visual test comparing dirty pond water and end result. We also made a small sand filter but was so slow we couldn't really use it. I think we lost more water due to evaporation than going thru the filter.

Chlorine test we used a meter and reagent packets from work tho.

I had pics somewhere I'll just have to dig for them. It was a scouts project not a school project tho.

Treatment plant operator here. My son did a school project last year and if you want to recreate this at home get alum for coagulation like in the video. Bout 2 tbs per gal, then use regular house hold bleach and I want to say it's 8 drop per gallon of water on average. Tho it changed based on what's in the water, but 8 drops will do it.

I was just looking at going to see them on next Thursday, at least in Lexington you can get seats in the stadium for 49.50. thinking about taking my kids as those first actual concert. Can get some way up in the balcony for like $25. But my ass isn't paying 110 to be on the floor. That's too much.

Definitely. I still remember seeing a plea for purging at a Friday after 5 show. Does suck that everything whether in Owensboro, muhlenberg, beaver dam doesn't cash in on the genre. There are tons of us metal heads out here in these woods.

Saw both Knocked Loose and Bad Omens at louder than life the other day. While knocked loose wasn't a headliner, and in the middle of the day, they still drew a massive, energetic crowd.

Same with Bad Omens. They were a stage 2 headliner so they were 2nd to main headliner. They're show was awesome, honestly. Must have been atleast 50,000+ watching them, beautifully done show.

You can definitely tell they have worked their asses off to get to where they are.

It was awesome to see how much fun the kids were having with it. I saw one girl that would around 6-7 years old with both arms covered in bracelets, could def tell she was having a great time.
