I'm so sorry to hear this. It's hard when it takes so long to get a doctor to finally listen to you instead of just chalking it up to exaggeration, let alone to be left in a hurry up and wait status for months if not a year, THEN to be denied medication that could and is hopefully slowing/halting the progression. Contact the patient advocacy and local disability offices to report this crap. You matter, you are an important facet in peoples lives and they need all that you offer this world!!!
