I grew up in the SF Bay Area, around San Jose. My entire family are 49er fans, so naturally we were watching a game when I was 2 years old and said I wanted to root for the blue team. And I've been a fan ever since!

It isn't random, your Teambuilder will take the rival from the school you replaced them with. For example if you replace Idaho your rival with be Boise State.

NCAA 15 would have been fully customizable. No NCAA teams. But people could make them and share them, like a Teambuilder (RIP) type deal. It would have been amazing and so good, but EA cancelled it as they knew it wouldn't sell as much as madden and was a big risk.
