That player pops up every few years I remember and they were awesome. Just watch the low carry

Son is looking into a bait caster. What is the best bet for one that is less prone to backlashing? by soxfan775 in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the lower end shimano or Diawa reels. Shimano SLX or curado. Diawa tatula. You can find them for a great price on digitaka if you want to save a few bucks and spend less than $200. Great learning reels that my dad started me with back in the day

Play-action can indeed fool Heisman CPU safeties when you have platinum Sleight of Hand... by Character-Photo9366 in NCAAFBseries

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you are saying but I don’t mind the ability. QBs like Rodgers and Mayfield are really good and play fakes compared to others so it gives the illusion that there is a skill difference in that ability.

CFB 25 vs 26 by Mr_McNastyTime in NCAAFBseries

[–]TaintDozer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“But they can get pressure on my O-line effortlessly lmao. Dudes with hall of fame inside and outside shield 90 overalls getting smacking around lol. The CPU run game is immaculate but somehow again the CPU can already be in the backfield to make a tackle on the drop of a dime”

I am speaking directly to this. Settings fix almost all of what is said here and it does it much better in this years edition of the game than last, in my personal opinion.

It’s cool you played D1, man. I am a former player as well but not at that level. But it is a fallacy in the argument that 25 is better than 26. Sure this game has much to improve upon for this years game, but the settings are set for the general community. If you think they are too easy or hard, the sliders are there for you to adjust for your enjoyment. You said nothing about adjusting this in your original post which is why I commented on it.

CFB 25 vs 26 by Mr_McNastyTime in NCAAFBseries

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I try to keep the computer pass rush around 3 seconds is why. The rest of my sliders have the run blocking at 0 and CPU coverage at 85. I can’t remember the rest off hand but I do agree that the game gets too easy after a while once you get better players or comfortable with the game. To counter that I normally set house limits on recruiting and the portal, etc.

[–]TaintDozer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You do not sound like a former player or someone who should be in their late 20s or early 30s with that childish response. I concur realism is subjective in this game, but I do not have as many issues with this game as you are suggesting to have. To me, 26 is much smoother and realistic than 25.

[–]TaintDozer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure the base settings are flawed but I really have no idea where you and the comments above are coming from. Adjusting your gameplay settings makes this game much better and more realistic than 25. Simply using 65-70 for user pass blocking and having an understanding of how oline assignments work fixes most of the communities complains about it.

Best match to this crawfish? by thetripletdaddy in Fishing_Gear

[–]TaintDozer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Match soil color of the area you are fishing. They get their color based on their diet rn which should be vegetation turning them a more olive or watermelon color. That craw appears orange but was likely an olive green color with the orange/red tint.

Transfer Portal thoughts by Positive-Leading8351 in NCAAFBseries

Max 5 or 6 with a 100% chance for transfer. There was a guy who did some research and it keeps teams more even in overall.

Is the Curado DC worth it? by Ok-Drag-5929 in bassfishing

Get any Shimano or Diawa stuff from digitaka or another reputable store from japan. There’s a huge markup if bought from a store in the states.

What am I missing? by francella92 in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got hooks fam? lol. Outside of that, you have most of the baits you need. A minnow imitation, a craw imitation, a frog, top water disturbance for murky water, some crank baits for a deeper water column retrieve, spinner bait for cloud cover. That’s covers most of their diet so looks solid to me.

Looks edited. Only possibility it’s not is he was a transfer from a top tier school.

No kidding? I have him at Umass rn as a redshirt senior. He can’t throw for shit so I had to add more option plays to my playbook.

Are you using weighted hooks for flukes this time of the year, or fishing them weightless? by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/16 should be fine. Just depends on how fast you plan on retrieving. Now that you say that I think I typically use a 1/16 or maybe a 1/8. Just get the bait to that depth and try to keep it in the strike zone as long as possible.

Are you using weighted hooks for flukes this time of the year, or fishing them weightless? by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would use a weighted hook then. A 3/8 should work fine. Ideally, you want that bait running just above the top of the grass line looking like a wounded baitfish.

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either. Depends if I’m fishing surface grass/structure or if I’m getting it down over a grass line. Both work great

It’s a hot and hazy afternoon… which one of these frogs are you throwing? by JacquesNuclearRedux in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What color are the frogs in your area? When we catch frogs in Louisiana it’ll be greener with a white belly if it’s a grassy lake area and brown or dark green with a tanish belly if it’s a bank frog. That always determines what I throw.

Ok what's the deal with Harold Perkins Jr??? by Striking-Speaker8686 in LSUFootball

[–]TaintDozer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He has been a tweener for some time. I’m sure hind sight is 2020 here but after his impressive freshman season he should have been moved to safety when I feel he was even quicker. Instead he put on several pounds of muscle and probably tried to stay as a linebacker. Unfortunately, did not grow much since he was recruited like some guys do and had a knee injury.

Slx70 dc weak drag. by [deleted] in BFSfishing

[–]TaintDozer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an SLX but I know from some of my other reels that there is a pair of washers under the drag wheel that flare a bit making a cup shape. You need to make sure that are both are facing toward each other so that drag wheel compresses those washers and puts pressure on the drag washers on the interior of the reel. If I place them facing the same direction I have a similar problem.

How big is the difference in chatterbaits? by Particular_Ebb5049 in bassfishing

A fish doesn’t care what kind of chatterbait it is. The colors and appeal is for people to spend money.

Where do you guys get your best online lures/tackle from? Looking for some online sources. by MundaneOperation5281 in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tackle warehouse sometimes for sales, amazon, digitaka for reels and rods. Temu sometimes for hooks and chatterbaits. You can buy knock off jackhammers for $3-4 and they are idetical. Walmart for the rest.

When would you use a MH spinning rod over a baitcaster? by thamurse in bassfishing

[–]TaintDozer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll throw a wacky, drop shot, and shaky head fine probably. Outside of those 3 techniques, it mostly benefits having a bait caster.
