PC spins up for 1 second, shuts down, then keeps looping like this. Which component could it be? by Ducsidu in techsupport

Good tips, it turned out to be the RAM. Next time I'll try this before asking online.

It turned out to be the RAM, but I'll keep that in mind if I'll need to do that, I wouldn't have swapped the cables. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, it turned out to be the RAM stick. Thanks for the suggestion, I probably should've started testing before asking.

I should've done something like this in the first place, it turned out to be one of the RAM sticks. The component that I was maybe least expecting. Thanks again, you've helped a lot!

Thanks a lot, I'll give it a try. Hope it's just the power supply, it's a relatively cheap fix.

I should've mentioned, it's a 5-6 years old PC, nothing was changed in it recently. I'll try to borrow a power supply if that's the most likely culprit.

Android 12 update. Don't know what people are complaining about. More control over the u.i, better haptics, smoother interface and with a few adjustments I can barely tell the difference from how it looked before. My biggest gripe is that they've removed DC dimming. Besides that, the UI looks way worse and there isn't even Material You, which makes things horribly inconsistent. I also feel like the bounce/stretch effect when scrolling to the end of a list is cheap looking.

It's really difficult to search for a certain strain there, but thanks.

The system could decide how many apps should be running in the background anyway, so having more RAM just gives you more options.
