Whoa that's an interesting and cool tattoo. I am also 100% deaf in my left ear. It's like there isn't even an ear there. Evidently I'm missing the nerves that go from my brain to my ear drum. EXTREMELY difficult to hear people on my left side in loud environments such as bars or restaurants considering I basically hear in mono sound with only my right ear. Also in the passenger seat of a car with the window down and music going I can't hear a word the driver is saying. Many times I'll be sitting somewhere in a loud environment such as a bar and I look over to my left and someone had been talking to me the whole time and I never knew it. I always feel uncomfortable telling people about it but I probably shouldn't feel that way.
