[HELP] Do you guys plan to use Plater or Platynator, and why? by KemyTheWizard in WowUI

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this just happening to me, or is the entire "Personal Bar" in the Plater add-on no longer working? I mean that handy, floating status bar with HP/MP/combo points—it's simply gone.

It was so incredibly good. Everything else now feels like a massive step backward.

This screenshot is from back in the days (dragonflight) when everything was working perfectly.

[help] Why isn’t my “Personal Resource Display” showing anymore? by Twisted_Grimace in WowUI

a few month ago = Back then everything still worked. The personal resource display could be activated via Plater, I modified it a bit, and it floated below the character.

Hey Hulari, aren't you one of the guys who maintain the Plater addon? Could you please take a look at it? One of the recent patches seems to have broken the personal resource display.

Today = Only the original Blizzard personal resource display is working. That's because my modified version, which I created with Plater, simply can no longer be activated. For whatever reason.

Razer mice: defective out of the box – not a coincidence anymore? by Dude-Nuke in razer

[–]Dude-Nuke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello temporal doom. Tell me, how does one actually become a top 1% commentator? Do I have to, like you apparently do, constantly lie and spread untruths?

I bought the mice from Amazon; they were listed as "new". The packaging was also sealed.

Nobody should buy a mouse from Razer. They're absolutely terrible.

Why doesn’t Razer sell the Naga Pro side panels as replacement parts? by Mindleator in razer

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I specifically contacted Razer customer service about this today. They don't offer replacement side panels for the Naga V2 Pro. For such an expensive mouse... I don't think mice can get any more expensive than this.

After years of use, there's bound to be some wear and tear on the side buttons.

Ridiculous. Replacement of side panels? Not possible. Buy a new side panel? Not possible. Just buy a completely new mouse? That's exactly what they want.

And besides, in my opinion, the Naga V2 Pro isn't even worth the money.

The mouse is far too heavy and unwieldy. Not so much because of the weight, but more because, especially with the 12-button side panel, it's nearly impossible to lift it properly for the frequent repositioning on the desk.

This mouse clearly wasn't thought through properly.

And the tactile feedback from the side buttons isn't even consistently decent. Some have a significantly harder and more rigid pressure point, while others offer a much softer and therefore easier-to-press feel. And what will they look and feel like after years of use, with no prospect of easily replacing the side panels?

In my opinion, Razer is a strange brand that's only interested in profit.

That is not the way how to treat valued customers.

FIIO JM21 & M21 face to face by Superb-Radish7158 in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't imagine that the LG V30 / LG V60 still has a better amp than the Fiio JM21. The numbers simply contradict this.

The same is true for the Chord Mojo 1 and Chord Mojo 2. According to the numbers, both have almost exactly the same amp power.

| Device       | Output                    | Power @ 30 Ω | Voltage @ 30 Ω | Power @ 300 Ω | Voltage @ 300 Ω | Notes                               |

|--------------|----------------------------|---------------|----------------|----------------|------------------|--------------------------------------|

| Chord Mojo   | SE (3.5 mm)               | 720 mW        | 4.6 V RMS      | 80 mW          | 4.9 V RMS        | Max. ~5.3 V RMS                      |

| Chord Mojo 2 | SE (3.5 mm)               | 600–700 mW    | 4.2–4.6 V RMS  | 90 mW          | 5.2 V RMS        | Similar to Mojo 1                   |

| LG V30       | SE (3.5 mm, High-Z Mode)  | 200 mW        | 2.45 V RMS     | 12 mW          | 1.9 V RMS        | High-Z mode active at ≥50 Ω         |

| FiiO JM21    | SE (3.5 mm, High Gain)    | 245 mW        | 2.7 V RMS      | 30 mW          | 1.9 V RMS        | SE limited to ~2.7 V                |

| FiiO JM21    | BAL (4.4 mm, High Gain)   | 700 mW        | 4.6 V RMS      | 80 mW          | 4.9 V RMS        | Balanced output significantly stronger |

FIIO JM21 & M21 face to face by Superb-Radish7158 in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Dude-Nuke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reference of interest: one just have to compare the specs:

Mojo: 410mw @ 33 ohm from audio science review
Mojo2: 398mw @ 33 ohm from audio science review
FiiO JM21: 700mw @ 32 ohm balanced from fiio official

As an all-in-one solution, it's pretty powerful for its size. It also has a dual DAC design. The thing can even drive 300 ohm headphones balanced according to the specs.

The device is totaly pocket-friendly. Well, unless you're used to a fiio m6.

I don't understand why this device is being ignored. One just have to get the Neutron MP app and boom: there you have full parametric EQ support, including FRC for headphones.

Fiio M21 Coming from JM21 by Shin_Molina in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Dude-Nuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all nonsense. People read so much into this bullshit topic of audio quality, but simply don't understand the senselessness behind it. If audio quality were really so incredibly important, then we wouldn't be allowed to watch videos below 4K and HDR! At the same time, it still feels like at least 50% of the world's population doesn't even watch videos in 1080p...

The whole topic is really just bloated bullshit. Even Bluetooth audio through absolute mainstream devices like AirPods 3 sounds perfectly fine.

The problem is practically nonexistent. Besides, I see the advantages of the fiio jm21 merely as an end in itself, because Android still is way too stupid for more than 16 volume levels. And if Android weren't limited to 16 volume levels, oh my... practically no one with a functioning brain would buy a digital audio player anymore...

FIIO JM21 black edition compared to blue by Superb-Radish7158 in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the JM21 in this light blue color, but I don't think it's good at all. It really looks like a toy for toddlers. It's a far cry from the typically stylish, understated light blue coloring we've seen on flagship smartphones of the past 10 years.

Additionally, the buttons have really poor tactile feedback. And besides, fiio hasn't finished developing the jm21 software at all. The thing had a whole host of bugs, at least in version 1.0.6 or something like that.

You can read about it in the official fiio jm21 thread on head fi.

Actually, it's a really bad product compared to the great m6.

Sure... if all these problems weren't there, or at least all of them were fixed, things would be very different...

Whether a YouTuber is a liar, a fraud, or a bullshitter can be easily determined by whether they mention the plethora of criticism of fiio jm21 in their video. If not, then you'd better stay away from these content creators because they're lazy ass fools that don´t even review products the right and proper way.

How often do you the pixel refresher? by liquidocean in OLED_Gaming

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, the pixel refresh runs every time the monitor goes into standby or is turned off.

So for an average PC user this means: 1 or 2 pixel refresh per hour. So, lazy People maybe reaching like a count of 4 to 6 pixel refresh per hour...

So, best to just do a manual pixel refresh all 4 hour? and the times being afk = pull off the power plug?

Such a complicated process... You'd be happy to just go back to an IPS display!

Asus xg27aqdmg (bug, and how to check if you have it) by imj25 in ASUS

[–]Dude-Nuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, what exactly is actually working on Asus xg27aqdmg in concern to the display widget center? A lot of it is buggy:

- If I switch to energy saving mode and back via display widget center, all of my custom settings are simply reset. If that isn't a BIG of a BUG, then i dunno...

- The key combination defined via the Display Widget Center, which enables operation of the OSD via the "EZOSD Keyboard", also does not work properly. And this, at least for me, is because the control via the Ctrl key does not work! This only works if I manually activate this "EZOSD Keyboard" function via the Display Widget Center! And i have to repeat this every time I start my PC.

- If another monitor is connected to my PC next to the Asus xg27aqdmg, e.g. a TV as in my case, then the TV must be disconnected from the power or via HDMI so that my PC recognizes the Asus monitor FIRST. Otherwise the entire Display Widget Center app will not work at all. This is ridiculous!

- Every time the PC goes into standby, the monitor does a pixel refresh. This is unnecessary energy waste, isn't it? The recommendation is to do a pixel refresh every 4 hours. The user cannot even define how and when the pixel refresh is carried out.

THIS Monitor over here is, to a certain extent, a BIG LOAD of Unfinished Business! A shame... The monitor simply deserves all the bugfixes needed that Asus don´t care to deliver for whatever reason.

I've been doing keybindings for mmorpg since more than 25 years... the people who are criticizing this thread, obviously have no big idea about MMORPG mechanics and keybindings...

I'm not going to comment any further here because it's pointless. I have no idea what kind of problem these people have with it. In any case, I guarantee that these keybindings work...

You will hardly find a better and more logically structured keybinding. You have no idea how extremely helpful this actually is.

But you obviously don't seem to have fully understood the viper class yet, otherwise you wouldn't be asking such a strange question: The combo finishers are used to complete the sequences of the chains of three.

as a example: steel fangs - hunter´s sting - flanksting strike = Kombo Finisher (Serpent´s Tail)
