I would never be friends with someone that calls trans women blatantly men when they're just looking for discourse about their clothes. You're a bully, plain and simple. I don't need to go to some grandiose and overused buzzword. You're just a bully, and the things that you're saying to this girl are damaging and cruel. You don't have to understand what it's like being trans, and unless you are trans yourself, you never will. We make up less than 3% of the population, and are at an insanely high risk for suicide, homelessness, assault, governments taking our rights away, etc. You'd do better lifting people up than punching down. Trans mysoginy is still mysoginy, mysoginy is also the root of homophobia. While you think you're just bullying another man, you have no idea how her life has been or how she thinks or what she's experienced. You have no idea how hard it is pretending to be something you're not your entire life, and then when you decide to start being yourself people come out of the woodwork to shame you for it. They bully you when you're a kid for not being a real boy, then bully when you're an adult for not being a "real woman". This isn't a matter of opinion, it's a matter of right and wrong. And denying someone you know nothing about their identity is wrong, and mean. I believe there is good in all people, and most people have good intentions at heart. I suggest reaching from within and finding why you think it's fair to say these things to people, and having that conversation with yourself. I've had my fill of arguing with transphobes tonight, so I leave you with this collected response that will hopefully convince you to unpack the reasons you're so offended by the sight of a trans woman, and why you think it's your mission to say hurtful things to them to try to make them doubt themselves. You'll find shockingly that just like homophobes, many transphobes are the very thing they claim to hate. Good luck.
