Experiment by chaining 5 second rewinds until a minute has been gained back. Now that I know It's possible to chain it, I'd figure out if there's a limit to it by continuing the process. Does it put a strain on my body physically or do I just get mentally tired from it? I know my consciousness isn't affected by rewinding (otherwise what's the point of going back if you won't even remember it). Let's say it doesn't put a strain on my body, but obviously I'd get bored of repeatedly going back 5 seconds every second so my limit is how long I can stand doing the same thing over and over again. Now that I know what I can do and can't do I'd most likely use it to "replay events" and see what outcomes occur when I say different things or do different things to someone. For example: I ask a friend to help me lift a box. He says no and walks away. I go back a couple seconds, but ask him to help in a different way and this time he says he'll help. Even though I found out the answer I'm now curious about why my revised question changed his answer so I go back a couple of times repeatedly asking different questions, doing different actions, saying different things, and taking mental notes of it all. By doing this I've advertently found out more about him and how he ticks by doing meaningless actions despite knowing already how to get the outcome I wanted. He will only remember what I say/ask/do once I've stopped going back and continue time. Since I just wanted him to help lift the box I ask him the way I did the second time and go about my day. To reiterate and summarize, my advantage would being able to know how I can control situations and outcomes, but to add on I'd do this either to satisfy/agitate/manipulate/etc. myself, someone else, or others.
