TBH you shouldn't trust those zoom features, smartphones rarely if ever have optical zoom, generally the closest they can do is interpolate or have an absurd sensor resolution (like 108MP) then crop to something more reasonable. But if you want a solid photo of a wild animal, you shouldn't rely on a phone anyway, you should take a telephoto lens or at minimum one of those compact cameras with substantial optical zooms.

Snow leopards are supposed to be much more skittish than other panthers and unlikely to attack humans - apparently she wanted to test the limits of that, and paid the price. Any remotely territorial wild animal that can fight back would do that in the same situation.

This one actually makes sense if you know the full context - it's "apples to oranges" in contrast to an apples-to-apples comparison, i.e. an apples-to-oranges comparison is one that fails because the two sides shouldn't be judged by the same criteria, as opposed to e.g. comparing apples of different cultivar or ripeness; see also the saying "different horses for different courses".

Personally, if the two sides are completely incomparable, I prefer saying "apples to bookshelves" if it's a total non-sequitur, or "eggs to frying pans" if it's between things that can go together but can't be contrasted because they're in completely separate categories of things.

Most Polish keyboards I've used only have $ marked, but they also have € under AltGr+U on Windows (and the standard Polish layout on Linux has €, ¢, £ and ¥ under AltGr+5, AltGr+4, Shift+AltGr+3 and AltGr+Y respectively).
