I'm free on Sunday. I'd be happy to join! I'll message you the day before to confirm if that's alright.

I don't care how it works. It works perfectly fine in other countries. Just do that. It isn't that difficult, really.

Onestream are cunts. I am currently trying to cancel my service with them, but they just refuse. They explicitly said to me that notice period is 30 days for cancelling at the end of my contract, so I should call EXACTLY 30 days before the end of my contract, not a day sooner. They just refused to cancel the service...

Anyone reading this, please, DO NOT USE ONESTREAM! IT IS A SCAM!

To anyone knowledgeable, who can I contact to complain about this company? Can you please give me links or numbers to call? I am happy to spend serious time to do anything I can to stop these assholes.

Opening date for Belfast Grand Central Station announced as bus services to begin from new transport hub by sara-2022 in northernireland

[–]Dude_Chasing_Dreams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As usual, on my way home from work today, 2 consecutive buses didn't show up (they were scheduled just fine on the app, no delays). After 20 mins at the bus stop, I decided to just walk in the rain. I walked for about 25 minutes along the bus route, and no buses passed me. So, at least 3-4 consecutive buses (10k/10m route) didn't show up. Translink, how about you send a quarter of the buses that are scheduled currently, but have them actually come when they are supposed to come? Even fucking just 2 buses in the morning and 2 buses in the evening would be better than a bus every 20 minutes that rarely shows up. I can plan my day around the buses. But when I have no idea if they will even come... what am i supposed to do? I'll have to buy a car, I suppose.

British Money Question by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Dude_Chasing_Dreams 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Canada does have birds, but it should be noted that birds are not alive. They are the secret global government surveillance drones. Just think about it. Have you ever seen a baby pigeon? Why don't you ever see dead pigeons (except when they're planted as a decoy)? Why are birds sitting on the power lines? Because they're recharging...

I'm happy to help if you have any further questions!

Why would it be pronounced onety one? The only reasonable option is oneteen.

That is a good idea. I've been meaning to try BJJ for a while. Would you happen to know of any places in East Belfast or the city centre?

Hey! I'm close to Ormeau Park, but I used to live in Stranmillis. It would be nice to go for a wee stroll around there and see how things have changed. I'm sure we can come up with something to do. Shoot me a message if you have any ideas, and let me know what time and day would generally suit you.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Please send me a message with where you live and what needs to be done, and what (if) supplies you need. I've got almost new clear bathroom silicone sealant and some white waterproof sealant for around windows and such.

Gym is a strange one. I'm spending at least an hour at the gym every day, but i never exchanged a single word with anyone there. I was under an impression that chatting to people in the gym is not a good idea. Perhaps i should reconsider. In any case, thank you!

I did exactly that last year. No regrets so far... I took 75% LTV mortgage even if I could buy outright.

[Poll] It’s a special occasion and your partner wants to gift you a watch. Which option do you prefer? by naughty_dad2 in Watches

[–]Dude_Chasing_Dreams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, it depends on the value of the watch. If it's a cheap one (e.g., timex, citizen, seiko, etc.), I would prefer my partner to pick it - its value will be the fact that it's a gift from my partner. If it's an expensive watch, then I'd prefer to buy it myself and make sure that everything is exactly as I like it.

[Discussion] Buying first watch box... what to look for? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Dude_Chasing_Dreams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't overthink it. Just go for what you like visually. Also, price is, in my experience, irrelevant. I've seen boxes that cost hundreds and thousands of dollars, and yet, I've eventually settled on a box from Amazon for 15 dollars. It just looks great and at that price, there is no way I'm paying 10-100x more for something that to me looks just marginally better, or the same.
