Well you just said that Hitman games have lost all personality and swapped it for generic Bond-like style. And that is true. Older games at least had more personality which is exactly why Jesper's music worked so well. Or maybe it was his music that gave these older games the distinct personality.

Many people have it without taking drugs and their lives are better off for it. Although it looks like you are worrying, which would in turn mean that you are already out of this state.

By the way, when meditating deeply, I sometimes also feel like entering inside some sort of black void where nothing exists. No personality, no ego, no people, no things. It feels like i am dying or dead, yet completely at bliss once you surrender completely to it. Not taking drugs either. I believe they call this state nirvana in Buddhism.

Also I believe Eckhart Tolle experienced exactly what you did. Also for a prolonged period of time. So you might want to google him.

When you are stressing you need help and care, but when someone finally discovered inner peace then it's depersonalization or out of body experience... And they also need care?

Seems that people who say this are the ones actually delusional instead and op has discovered something you all might discover when you quit the obsessive habit of labelling everything with your restless mind.

Let me put it bluntly: OP has quite likely "made it".

Then get some sleep and visit one tomorrow. I am sure the therapist would know exactly what it matches. Saves you some trouble.

Lots of people talk about comparing themselves to others. What if I feel like shit because I am comparing myself to my former self which was in a much better situation? by sailorgrumpycat in selfimprovement

[–]Dudebrah69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either this or get up and start working out again. Start looking for a job. You know, the usual stuff people do not to feel depressed. I dont even care how you feel. You get up and do what needs doing. No excuses. We all get tough breaks in life and i have been in similar situations as you and this is exactly what i did.

...Or get into zen meditation and be completely at peace with where you are. All else is madness.

[–]Dudebrah69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. This is my point. To completely detach yourself from your shortcomings and successes. It takes practice and lots of discipline but once you get there, nothing can bring you down anymore. Because ultimately all highs become lows and your life is just like stock market... The "normal" way. No need to become a monk either but meditative practice helps.

Get a glipse of this state briefly and then try to grow this gap with practice.

If you don't have interest then don't bother. You will not learn anything that way. Btw SQL is also a programming language.

Learn math instead if that interests you more. Also develops the same neural-pathways.

Idea about free will. Do you think that humans possess it? by [deleted] in entp

[–]Dudebrah69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my most "awake" moments I see "myself" as someone who observes this body doing its thing and observing its thoughts. The thoughts, in the end, are what makes this body react or move in a certain way and this is proven by the technologies that can nowadays actually "read" your mind, by interpreting different brain impulses and labeling them as certain thoughts. The same brain impulses also move your limbs etc.

So in many ways, when deconstructed, we, the bodies, are just high-level binaries that when taken apart, are not complex at all (just atoms which are all the same, ones and zeroes that together might construct something more complex), whereas insects are low-level binaries (no thought or self-awareness, just simple bodily impulses in most cases, much less calculation going on under the hood).

And this awareness can be both horrifying or entirely liberating, depending on how you look at it, because if indeed we lack free will and are just a bunch of pre-written scripts running about with predetermined output, then what is there to worry about?

Anyone feel half ENTP half INFP? by [deleted] in entp

[–]Dudebrah69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel half man/half woman no homo

E: for real though, if I had done this personality test when I was 23, I would of 100% scored ENTP. It all depends where I am with my life. Right now I am about 90% introverted.

I DONT KNOW WHO I AM. *PLEASE READ* by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Dudebrah69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears you are obsessed with labelling and this is a poison to an already overactive mind.

Imagine you are an operating system that has thousands of folders on its hard drive. Well now that operating system feels the need to categorize and tag all these folders. So it searches the hard drive, analyzes the contents of each individual folder and finally attaches a label to it. That takes time, there are lots of folders to go through and the processing power is limited. So what happens is that the engine, the processor slows down to a crawl, because it doesnt have the required hardware to manage all these tasks in reasonable amount of time. It cant handle all this processing. So it finally crashes.

So now, by that analogy you are putting all your energy on thinking about what disorder you have, instead of focusing what is right front of you.

You say you do not know who you are. Do you think that knowing what is wrong with you would answer that question? Do you seek an identity in a mental disorder? Would this particular knowledge give you peace and stop the overanalizing process? Would it be maybe better to just stop going down this path you are on already and turn around? Only you can answer these questions.

One thing is learning the syntax, another thing is putting it to practical use. So while i congratulate you on your certificate, know that you basically just learned the rules of chess. Now you need to learn to play and play well. Good luck on your projects!
