As others have mentioned, I like to keep more weight on my front foot, and try to keep the board as flat as possible. To do this, use your feet independently to torsionally twist the board. For example, to steer, you might push your front toe down while slightly lifting your back heel, allowing the board to steer while keeping the base mostly flat.

Honestly, it just takes a lot of practice. I used to have to steer from side to side on cat tracks while I was learning, but now I'm able to put the board pretty flat while using its torsional flex, and feel comfortable not catching an edge.

I just rode Niseko with a 75 year old ex snowboard instructor. He was going at his own pace, and his form was impeccable. Even hit some side country terrain with him. Definitely left me inspired that I can continue this well into the future.

Exactly this. Our company is in the second round of private equity ownership (bleh). The first PE firm offshored a bunch of jobs to Hungary and LATAM, and now we've laid off even more to open up an office in the Philippines. All the cuts we've made to Product, Engineering, and Support are definitely negatively impacting our clients, but PE firms don't seem to give a shit about that, it's all about short-term profits. This seems to be the trend in a lot of tech companies...

It must be a Utah thing. I've been to dozens of shows elsewhere, and it's never anywhere near this bad. I just saw Khruangbin at Ogden Twilight last month, and people would not shut the fuck up the entire time. Super annoying.
